Artic Pod Review Oct 2023Well…. I have to be brutally honest about the Artic Cold Pod and the customer service from this team. Don’t worry, it’s superb.I suffer from PTSD, muscle and tendon damage in a number of areas on my body and am in pain daily. I also have RLS. Restless Leg Syndrome.Due to the above issues, I rarely go to sleep before 3:30am (I’m writing this at 02:15am and have just got out of the cold plunge pod). I struggle to get to sleep and always have done as far back as I can remember over the last 25 years.Since getting the Artic Cold Pod I have slept like a log. I can barely keep my eyes open now whilst writing this review!This is down to the effect of the cold plunge. I cannot begin to explain how much this has changed my life. From getting maybe 3 hours sleep a night to now getting 8-9 hours.No longer waiting over an hour+ to get to sleep but instead out in minutes.RLS has basically disappeared when I do the plunge, it does however come back if I don’t use the plunge pool before bed.The morning session is a similar story, I never had energy really before now. Always felt lethargic and it took a fair while to wake up. Cold showers didn’t quite cut it. Hop in the cold pod for 5-10 mins and dunk the head for the last few seconds and the rest of the day is a breeze.Stress seems to have disappeared, energy and sleep have increased. It’s amazing.Now…. The pod itself was delivered in around 3 days. The packaging was a basic box with the items in as follows:- Legs- Pod- All weather cover- Pump and lid- Foot towel- Freezable ice bladder.There wasn’t a thermometer or carriage bag like others offer but I chose a separate thermometer and don’t plan on travelling with this so this I could live with.Set up took around 3 mins and it was up.Filling it from the hose took about 45-60mins.The cold tap produced approx 14-15c temp water. And getting the water below this was a challenge, even with the single ice block bladder. As such I would ask that they increase these in the kit to at least 2 or sell them separately.Mine developed a minor leak and was a pain as it was leaking around the exit pipe. Not enough to lose water completely but enough to have to top it up daily.As such the company arranged a replacement rapidly and this was amazing service. 5* well done.Now. The only thing I would highly recommend is a mild change in size.I’m 5’6” and I get in, sat down and the water only just covers my shoulders before it pours over the edge. These are advertised to take people 6’ or more and I can’t help but think this isn’t realistic. I can’t really get my head under without being a contortionist.The size is 80x80x72cm. It would be probably perfect for most my height and a bit slimmer but a bigger size like 90x90x75-77 would be spot on.Secondly, a guide on how to use it would be superb.There are various opinions out there but a beginners guide would be well worth including.Such as:3c = 1 min to get in and relax + 2 mins5c 1 min to get in and relax, + 410c 1min + 9 and so on.Obviously this is subjective to personal ability and a guide to start at say 15c and work down would have been incredibly useful.Overall, this is a great product and looks good too. Not had issues with the replacement as yet so all things stated above mean this was a great purchase.Highly recommend this for anyone suffering with mental health issues, PTSD, RLS etc. it’s done wonders for me.

Easy to assemble Perfect size easy to fill

Easy to assemble but there was a leak, i couldn’t locate it but was losing half the water. I left a review and they contacted me straight away to work on a resolve. I think the defect is just unfortunate and not a true reflection - they sent me a replacement that works great and haven’t lost any water (apart from me being in it) Great customer service and good product!

Great product. Better than a lot of other ice pods, very strong material, a very good buy!

Had my ice bath around 6 months and love it, the quality of this tub is fantastic, I had a slight issue which I can only put down to wear an tear, contacted the seller and experienced 5 star customer service, couldn’t thank grant at grantsventures enough.

The media could not be loaded.  We put this up and within an hour it was going down when looking we could hear the air coming out of it and closer inspection showed that the seal wasn't sealed so any air pumped in was going straight out. Really disappointed.

Product was faulty. Had a slow leak that was tricky to find but evident when it couldn’t retain water fully overnight and left the floor underneath soaked. Returning. Doesn’t indicate decent quality.
