Our council is fussy about collections but are happy to take these for recyclable items. The bags are larger than normal black bags and have never split. My wife is telling her friends to get some.

Excellent quality sacks to replace flimsy ones applied by the local council. My third order of 200.

The thickness as said is 140 gauge so it is not thick. I use it for recycling items such as plastic bottles, cans, cereal boxes, glass jars/bottles etc. It has been a month I am using these bags and I have no problem with them. If you put sharp items in the bag, (of course) it will tear easily. Good value, happy with the product and will buy again.

They're good enough for most recycling waste, but not as thick as you'd think they would be - as result can tear if sharp box corners/objects placed inside and filed too much. Seems hard to find anything thicker though.

I haven't over-filled any of mine but I can easily put my finger through them whilst carrying when they are full. Technique is to put your hands around the bottom of the bag when lifting and hold it against your chest as you carry. That said, you get an awful lot of them for your money.

These bags are well made and able to hold a fair amount, for example, I am using them for collecting my weekly recycling waste for collection. The local collectors are happy, similar to those they used to provide before budget constraints forced them to stop.

Great for the money. Weirdly mine are thicker on one side of the bag than the other (don't know if that's normal?!) so sometimes things rip through the thin side but overall a good product and would buy again. They are only being used for rubbish afterall!!
