Not for Toyota but says Toyota on box
I ordered this because it was advertised for Toyota. I start the device up and enter the VIN it comes back and says no Toyota software which made the device totally useless. Returned and now I have to wait 30 days for a refund. Never will I purchase anything that is made by this manufacturer.

Brake Bleed Toyota Prius V 2012
This NT710 scanner really works great and saved me thousands after a dealer quoted me $4600 for a master cylinder and ABS accumulator. After buying 3 other scanners that would not communicate with Toyota’s proprietary software, I was almost ready to take my car to the dealer, but I didn’t have to. The NT710 needed a software upgrade out of the box and that went smooth. After that, I plugged it into the Prius comm port and scanner recognized the vehicle. Intuitive navigation lead me to the Brake Bleeding system. Followed the directions on the scanner and it worked great! This scanner saved me thousands. I’ve also used it to trouble shoot a check engine light throwing a P0104 (cylinder 4 spark plug) code. It’s worth the money! If you have a Toyota Prius and do your own work, this the scanner/code reader you need! Buy it.

Has the Prius/Toyota Hybrid linear valve offset calibration function.
I recently changed the master brake pump assembly and accumulator pump on a ‘12 Prius. This requires a brake bleed and the linear valve offset calibration, typically done with a Toyota Techstream tool ($$$&). FYI - they must be done in that order. If you don’t do the brake bleed function first, you won’t be able to do the calibration. For the price I consider this a great tool. I am sure the dealership service center would have charged me more. Even if they didn’t, it was worth not having to take the car to the service center. I did also run a complete diagnostic on the car. Looks like a power window had a fault at one point. Will have to keep an eye on that. I haven’t tried any of the other features such as setting the door unlock behavior and such.

Scans many modules throughout a car
I've used this for diagnosing faulty bluetooth issues on a Ford, engine sensors on GM, tire pressure sendors on a Lexus, and general health of a Chevrolet. I'm impressed with all the modules throughout the vehicle that this device will scan and report pass or fails.I did have issues using a smart charging cable to charge the device. Vivian at Customer Service satisfied my issue with replacing the unit and getting an engineer to transfer my additionally purchased vendor models to the replacement unit. This issue was resolved to my satisfaction, even though the problem may have been the smart charging cables I had on hand, fighting the onboard power management system.

Cleared 2013 Prius ABS-TC-Brake Warning Lights; Bled Brakes After Brake Acc. and Booster Replaced
I tried all the cheap YouTube methods of clearing the warning lights and restoring regen braking and TC, but none work more than a few minutes. The TR710 easily ID'ed the code and restored the car to full operation. Pretty intuitive to use and cost effective.I can now confirm the scanner will properly bleed the brake-ABS system on a Gen 3 Prius after replacing the actuator and pump assemblies. I just completed the job and am code free!

Unable to use - Serial number already registered junk
Purchased and attempted to use the serial number is already registered. You can't update the thing to even attempt to use it. So the scanner is pretty much useless. Also it has every version except toyota/lexus. It looks nice, thats about it

Foxwell NT710
The media could not be loaded. It does everything it said it would do and when I had trouble learning about how it works customer service was excellent to work with. I would highly recommend this to anyone who owns a Lexus. My main reason for buying it was to bleed the brakes after replacing the actuator and it did great. Not as many options as techstream but thousands less.

Easy to use
I recently purchased a new Toyota Landcruiser LC300 and had a minor incident with a flat battery. I called our local road assistance company who came out and got me going again. Because of all the new technology in the car all the error codes came up and with his OBD2 diagnostic tool he was able to clear most of codes and get me going. We have a caravan and plan to do more touring around Auatralia soon. So what would happen if the same situation occurred to me when I was in the outback hundreds of kms from any road assistance. Hence I searched the internet for OBD2 tools and found the Foxwell scanner to meet my needs and budget. I checked with the company that my vehicle VIN would work with this model and they confirmed yes. I have connected it to my car and it ran 44 diagnostic tests and all good, no faults. This is a great unit and will be taking it with me every where I go. Also if error message came up at lease I could check what it meant or relay the info to a mechanic over the phone etc if needed. Recommended product.
