Q: Could I leave this out on the lake all summer?

We have 2 of these island and we left both in the lake all summer. It gets gross with algae but a bit of elbow grease and soapy water took care of it. So easy peasy!

Q: I noticed this comes with a hand pump....is it Necessary to buy the automatic pump?

The hand pump is enough to support the inflation of the whole boat, and it also comes with 5 different types of inflation nozzle. Of course, if you want to faster, you can buy an automatic pump.

Q: Anyone have any suggestions on how to clean inflatable raft?

Just wipe it down with foam water, it's easy to clean, and after washing and drying it can be folded and put into a storage bag.

Q: How would you tether it to a fixed dock?

By attaching one end of the rope to the metal stainless steel D-rings around the four sides of the floating raft, the other end of the rope can be fixed to the dock.
