Makes a wonderful gift!
My mom loves these and I usually buy her some new ones every birthday. They look great in flower pots, lining the fence, and in flowerbeds. Easy to put together and set up. Give off a nice, not too bright, light. Battery and lights usually hold up well. These are out year round, and hold up well even though we get some severe weather here.

lovely lights
Three of the lights work great. So I don't want to return them but one light doesn't work right. It doesn't change like the others. That's disappointing. Also the lights are more blue than white. But I love the fact that I can shape them the way I want to and that they are solar charged.

Didn't realize actual size
The colors aren't traditional Christmas colors. Guess there isn't enough sunshine in SE MI. Most nights these don't light up. Thought I read the specs but apparently not thoroughly. These are much smaller and shorter than I was envisioning.

Don't work
Originally received them with pole broken. They promptly replaced them but with a different kind. The replacement looked sturdier but they don't light up and now my return window is closed so will never know if I just got a bad one or they're just bad.

Much better than expected! Last all night!
The media could not be loaded. I bought these as a gift for my neighbors 10th birthday! I charged them in full sun for a day, then set them up that evening in their backyard… So when she looked out her window, she was surprised and excited for her little firework display! They have been outside for over two weeks… their yard does not get full sunlight, but partial sunlight through the trees. The fireworks have been glowing and flashing brightly at full capacity for two weeks straight… I even saw them bright as can be at 4 AM this morning. So they last all night! I’m very impressed! Easy to assemble, they wires with the lights are a little short… But I knew that already based on other reviews.
