When this arrived it came boxed inside a hairnet to protect the curls and it came with a hair tie and Bobby pins. I personally won’t use the hair tie because it has a chunky gold charm on it, but it’s nice to include so you have everything right there to do the hairstyle.This messy bun is super easy to use. Just put your hair in a bun and slip this hair piece overtop. It has an elastic you putt to tighten around your hair. Then just tuck the elastic underneath. The bun looks better than I anticipated. It has a sheen to it that does look fake, but I think a little dry shampoo will fix that.I think if you can get a color that matches your hair color then it’s a great buy. I bought the Smokey brown one. I typically dye my hair a light or medium golden brown and this matches my hair pretty well. GRANTED I haven’t dyed my hair in a couple months, so I think it will look a lot better once I do.For the price, like I said if you can get a color that matches your hair, I think it is a great buy! I will note that it’s not nearly as big or full as the advertised pictures show.

I got this messy bun in the color “Medium Brown,” which matches my natural hair color perfectly. It’s quite a large, full piece, just like in the product images. The hair is shiny enough that it looks almost exactly like my real hair, but it’s not so shiny as to look like cheap, costume hair. The inner netting secures nicely over a small bun of my hair, and it tightens securely into place. I’m not crazy about the drawstring tightener, as it can be tricky to use, and then it needs to be tucked away and hidden, but it gets the job done. There are 4 combs sewn inside the inner netting if the drawstring isn’t enough to hold this in place on you, but I find them too difficult to manage without completely ruining the hair I’ve already brushed nicely into place, and they aren’t necessary for securing this bun to my head anyway. I’ve noticed only minimal fallout from this piece, which is great! This comes with a few accessories if you need them: 5 black bobby pins, and a hair elastic with a little, plastic, gold bow charm threaded onto it. Overall, it’s a nice piece to quickly add some drama to your look.
