VENA iPhone X/XS Wallet Case, vCommute (Military Grade Drop Protection) Flip Leather Cover Card Slot Holder with Kickstand Designed for Apple iPhone X/XS (5.8"-inch) - Rose Gold

I stumbled on this case after searching for a suitable wallet case for my iPhone X. I had been using leather folio cases for years but there was a bit of a problem with the fold-over covering the mic between the cameras at the back (Strange because it doesn't seem to be troubling 8 users). I've tried the VRS Damda Glide, the VRS Damda Folder, the Clayco Argos slot case, and this Vena vCommute. Overall I think the vCommute is the best for protection, quick access and the magnetic cover being useful for making a kickstand as well as securely holding 2 cards and a banknote. The VRS Damda Folder follows a close second, but the card access is not as slick, and it's quite a bit chunkier, although it is the grippiest. I think you will always have to compromise on the bulkiness for a wallet case, but the vCommute is reasonable. The build quality is good, and they seem to be the only manufacturer who has put an angle in to slide cards out easily. I'm not using wireless charging yet, but I imagine there will be slight problems when I do - but again, this is going to be an issue for most cases where the cards are at the back of the phone. The rose-gold is not quite for me so I will probably change to the black at some point. For the price point, it is really great value, and I'm very pleased with it.

Great robust case that protects against drops.Still pretty slim so people are amazed it is also your wallet! Barely adds any bulk.Good rugged appearance too 👍🏼Magnetic mount works great in the car although I position it so the horizontal plastic beam of my ventilator system/fan grills, supports the weight at the bottom. Magnetic mounts don’t affect contained contactless credit cards.Wireless charging I have not been able to make work with cards in place...I use the stand too, not infrequently.Overall a brilliant buy at a great price (£9-10 when I bought) and I intend for it to last me a good couple of years!!Update sept21.Case has broken on me 6 times now but Vena have sent me a free replacement (shipped from US) each time. Sent them a photo of how it broke each time. The last time they made me post the broken one back to the USA however (£3) but still shipped a replacement afterwards.Broke in same place each time. Surprised they’ve not reinforced that area yet, however still happy with the product and it’s customer service aftercare support!!! (Lifetime warranty when I bought it)

Having already tried the predecessor for my iPhone 8 Plus, although the case more or less fitted I needed to get this new one as the camera has rotated by 90 degrees on the X. This case is actually a bit slimmer than the former, a tighter fit and actually a bit sleeker and less clunky. You can now only fit 3 cards in the back, even so it’s a brilliant case and most certainly excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

So far I am pleased with this case. It feels robust and fits the phone well.The compartment holds a credit card and banknote comfortably and these are easy to extract.My only slight concern is the long term durability of the magnetic door on the back. It is very light and I fear that, over time it could cause problems, however I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

I’m now on my second case. This is a brilliant design and made with top quality materials.. and I haven’t had a single panic attack about my credit cards whereabouts since I started to use this case. The price has gone up quite a lot for my second one but you really do get what you pay for with this one.

The product was exactly as described. The case itself is well constructed and covers the important parts of the phone that might be exposed during a fall, i.e. corners, rim of glass, and back. The small storage space on the back is well thought out and can hold identification card, extra cash, and 1 or 2 credit cards. While I haven't used the stand feature yet, I have tried it out to see the configuration. It holds the phone well and looks like it would be helpful when watching a video. All in all, I have used many cases over the years and this seems to be as good or even better than most.

At first this was fine - although it is pretty bulky, and won't allow phone to sit in most cradles or to charge on a charging station if credit cards are in the pocket, unless you open the sleeve. It seemed fairly strong, but the phone dropped from hand height and the corner of the case cracked, so I have had to replace it. It sells on its sturdiness, but was a let down. I contacted the seller, and was told I could not have a refund. A replacement was available but could take 4-6 weeks.Fortunately, when I complained to Amazon they refunded me.

I bought this for my I phone x. Really pleased with the product. The best recommendation i can give is a follows. I was on a zip wire in Canada and foolishly decided use my phone to film the last run. All went well until i came to a sudden halt at approx 30 mph. The phone shot of of my hand and hit the the floor and slid along the ground until it was fortunately stopped from disappearing over the side of the mountain. Not only was the phone and case unmarked the video was still rolling.I also like the internal CC card holder, albeit lose the phone you lose the cards

Second time purchase, for another family member so now we have one for iPhone 13 mini and iPhone X. Great, sturdy case that holds 3 cards in the slot but the magnet flap is strong enough I can even stash a couple folded bills or a stamp card underneath the flap securely too. Flap folds into triangle stand easily. Love this case and I highly recommend it.

I actually bought this as a replacement for the same thing as it "finally" broke. This case is very durable and withstood a bunch of drops (I do mean a bunch) until the last one which happened to hit exactly on the corner of the case, causing a fatal crack on the case - BUT - protected the phone perfectly.The wallet is also such a convenience. I never carry my wallet any longer. The case holds 2 cards and a few bills folded twice. It will hold 3 cards easily with no currency, maybe 4.The magnet is also really useful for magnetic phone holders, so you don't need to purchase the metal adhesive circles for this case. It's strong and I've never had any issues with it falling off of the holders.

I have been using this case for the past 8 months by now. I am quite satisfied with it. 3 cards and a folded banknote fit snugly in the storage. The case is quite sturdy but not heavy at all. I dropped my phone at least three times so far, without the case I am certain something would have been broken. My expectation is for it to last for 2 years, so far I have no reason to think it won't.
