Very Satisfied
These are a great sturdy kayaks. We ordered 2 of them and couldn't be more pleased. They are very solid when inflated and move through the water with little effort. My husband and I are both "senior citizens" and had no problem loading and unloading the kayaks. They easily fit in the back of our Jeep Patriot. It took us a little while to figure out how to fold them back up as the online video didn't match up with our kayaks. We called Sea Eagle customer service and they were very helpful and walked us through the process. The first time out we used the manual pump provided to inflate both of them. It's certainly doable, but not exactly fun. We ordered a Sea Eagle battery operated pump which does NOT have to be plugged into the car cigarette lighter. The pump is amazing and inflated both kayaks with no issues. We carry the folded kayaks to the shore line, unfold, inflate and off we go. Fun Fun Fun

Fast, easy for an inflatable, average weight
Dropstitch is pretty cool.I was pretty big into tube inflatable packrafts because they're light but durable, especially for backpacking. But the biggest problem is that they're unbearably slow against the wind or currents. Even on a lake, if it's windy, the surface of the water runs in the same direction, and that just makes making any progress impossible.Even tube inflated kayaks aren't super fast. They're also bulky. So having dropstitch kayaks are a real boon. For larger lakes, the Sea Eagle just slices through the current quickly and easily. Even without much effort and taking a lot of breaks, I was still averaging 2mph, and had "burst" speeds of 20 minutes where I was hitting 3.3mph.Kayaking with the wind at my back, it was pretty easy to hit burst speeds of 4.1mph (at least according to my gps.It feels tippy, but I didn't really worry about tipping over. The foot peddles are what really makes it easy to comfortably get power into each stroke. Acceleration is easy, and maintaining speed is easy. The skeg works great. Haven't used this kayak without the skeg yet.The seat is comfortable'ish, but it does get uncomfortable after about 2 hours or so.The outer skin is pretty rugged. it could probably take a number of gliding up to a beach and grounding. But it's not a hard plastic, so probably wouldn't recommend doing that too often. The only issue I have really comes from the one advantage of packrafts, and that's the weight. From what I understand, the Sea Eagle is not considered heavy, but coming from the packraft world where most packrafts range from 3lbs to about 8lbs, the Sea Eagle is pretty cumbersome. All in all, the sea eagle is an amazing dropstitch kayak, much easier to inflate and takedown/clean up than my other dropstitch, and performs well in the water. Can't ask for much better than that.

Awesome inflatable kayak!!
I upgraded to a Razorlite 393 rl (from an Intex). Amazing product!! My mind was blown with the speed, overall performance and quality of this inflatable kayak. Hard to believe it’s an inflatable. I’m able to either keep up or out run (mostly out run) all my buddies who have regular hardshell kayaks (13-14 foot hardshells). Additionally, it’s relatively easy to assemble/disassemble, and fold/pack into the bag. Might take some practice to get good at drying/folding/packing but it’s not hard after you get the hang of it. The bag is large and a bit bulky when the Razorlite is folded up and packed in, but not too bulky or heavy that one middle-aged adult can’t handle it. The packed bag can still fit in the trunk or back seats of a compact car. The kayak can be a bit wobbly and not everyone might like that but that’s expected for a performance-oriented kayak. One thing I love is that since the Razorlite is open you have a plenty of storage space at the bow and stern. There’s plenty of room to put a cooler, manual pump, kayak cart, dry bag, etc. Legroom is fine, seat is firm and supportive. Recommend purchasing a kayak seat cushion to put on the seat if you prefer more cushioning. Also a cupholder. Bottom line, this kayak is great for recreational calm-water kayakers (some light chop is ok) who are looking for a compact/portable alternative to regular hardshell kayaks. Definitely worth the money.

Seam Leaks After 4 Years of Fun
I have two razorlites - single 4 y/o, double 1 y/o, and a white water lower pressure SE IK.The single developed seam leaks in years three and four. Both times way up in the tip of the sidewall chambers. These repairs are a huge task requiring hours of precise attention to multistep details. In addition to the need for toluene or MEK and a heat gun or strong hair dryer. Forget about getting Sea Eagle for fixing or replacing - these failures usually happen after warranty and sending them for pro repair is too costly.Thats the significant CON - these PVC kayaks are not that durable. I would recommend against inflating over 8 PSI, and never leave the kayak in the hot sun for more than an hour (thats how one failed - I live in AZ). Other notes: you must clean these meticulously after every use, and don't store them tightly folded, and inflate them at least twice a year to avoid cracking.PROs - We've had a great time on many lakes and some class II rapids in these few years. The Kayaks are light - easy portage, easy to put in the back of a truck or SUV. No need for roof racks. Easy to pack in gear for overnight trips. For an IK, these babies are easy to row even long distances. Lastly, they are relatively inexpensive compared to the much more durable Hypalon IKS (SOTAR, NRS, etc) and much less hassle to transport than a hard shell of comparable capacity. (BTW I long ago gave up on trying to repack them in their "back pack"!)Summary: a great intro to flat water and up to class II river kayaking. Even with good care, leaks can happen after 3-4 years of use.If you really want to enjoy trouble-free IKs for years, you'll have to put out for a much more expensive Hypalon IK made in the USA vs. SeaEagle or other PVC boats usually mass-produced in China.(BTW, do not waste money on the cheaper Sea Eagle IKs - they are glorified pool toys in function and durability - I bought one for my grand kids. Mistake.)
