I have been using clarins hydration for years. I just get tired of them repackaging them and changing the ingredients.

I use the double serum by Clarins and then let it dry and follow up with this moisturizer.. it’s smooth and hydrating and the smell is amazing.. it helps hydrate my skin and is a must for anyone who needs hydration on their skin…definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic moisturizer …

This is a cream that works better on my skin during the summer months. I useClarins Hydra-Essentiel Cooling Gel during the winter months. Both have Hyaluronic Acid which helps to keep my skin hydrated. However, this cream minimizes the fine lines by making my skin plumper looking.HOW I USE:1 - Cleanse my face by washing & using toner as I do every morning & night.2 - Apply my night serums3 - I apply a nickel size to my face and neck. I start at the middle of my face and apply going out and up. I don't pull on my skin but apply in a firm, yet gentle sweeping motion. On my neck, I start at my jaw and go down.Clarins NEW Hydra-Essentiel Rich Cream goes well with the other products I use for my facial regimen.EXPIRATION DATE: NONE!I always check for expiration dates before using, ESPECIALLY with health & beauty products. This is a very rich moisturizer. It is more of a solid consistency, such as a balm, which is scoopable and can be gouged out of the jar. At first I thought it would be too heavy for my skin due to that balm consistency, but it actually worked out very well. Moisturizes so well without being heavy on my skin and no greasy look or feel unless you use too much. It took me some time to get just the right amount for me. A little goes a long way and it is easy to end up with too much. Light handed and then pressed onto my skin, it is great. Lots of moisture without feeling like I'm slathered with stuff all over my face. I don't like to feel any sort of residue or excess on my skin. I don't like to have the greasy look or feel, either. This moisturizer gives me everything I need and want, without any of those extra aspects that I don't like. Skin feels so smooth, soft, hydrated, and looks fresh.

Clarins has changed its recipe for hydrating cream. This is a heavy, Nivea-like pomade, far more expensive than the cheaper brand.

This is a good product. However, I ordered the 1.7 oz. net wt. It clearly shows that amount on the jar when I ordered it. What I received was the 1.6 oz net wt.This is false advertising.

The Clarins NEW Hydra-Essentiel Rich Cream is lightweight and better than I expected. The a little cream could apply on the big area. The cream has little greasy feeling than the brand other cream, but to me the barrel good for my crack skin. The light scent is almost no if using a little. The cream maybe greasy to mild skin but which is renowned for its ability to retain moisture and deeply nourish the dry skin. I've used a number of Clarins products and I've never met one I didn't like. This Hydra-Essentiel cream is over the top, though. I was concerned it would be too heavy and more moisture than I needed at this time of year. Wrong! In fact, the hyaluronic acid in this cream works all day or night to attract moisture to your skin and help you retain it. And there is simply more moisture in the air to be had in Spring/Summer. My skin actually does feel and look plumper as well as hydrated. Hydra-Essentiel is entirely appropriate for the neck too, In my opinion. It contains hyaluronic acid, shea butter, cocoa seed butter and leaf extracts. Shea gives a product nice body and texture. There is a pleasant scent of botanicals as well as rose perhaps. I expect fragrance from Clarins products as they are developed in Paris. So happy to add this super hydrator to my Clarins collection!
