Really nice food
This food is really fresh and very high quality. It looks and smells like human food. I used it as a topper on dry food and my 6 dogs all loved it. Because it’s a bit spendy I won’t use it all the time, but I highly recommend!

Pricey but worth it
Finally something my senior dog loves. It brought tears to my eyes to see my Georgia thoroughly enjoy her meal. Just ordered my second order.

Locally made with the best ingredients
My pup loves this food and by the ingredients, this is very good for her. I only wish the packaging could be recycled.

My dog loves this food
My dog is very picky when it comes to soft food. I spend a lot of time looking at ingredients to avoid buying food with ingredients she refuses to eat. This food she completely scarfs down. There won’t be a morsel left in her bowl. It’s great for when we travel or if she has to be boarded. The cost is relative to the quality. Good soft dog food isn’t cheap but this isn’t overly expensive. She also loves the salmon flavor too. I like that you can tear and squeeze the packet but sometimes it doesn’t tear quite right and it can become a mess.

Quality
I have tried this brand of pet food from a pet store. My dog enjoys it. She is a senior dog and does not eat a lot of dry kibble much anymore. I do feel like the Portland pet food gives my dog good nutrition and also I like that there’s is different varieties. Pet store price was slightly less but factor in the gas to go pick it up and it evens out.

Great For Picky Dogs
My dog is a Husky and she is super picky. I mixed these in with her food and she now eats all of her food! Perfect and worth the money!

Texture Is Too "Liquidy"
My babies love the Pork and Potato blend, so I continue to purchase it though it is definitely too "soupy" texture which makes it extremely messy and difficult for my small dogs to eat. I have to blot it with paper towels and then add bread crumbs to it for it to be a more eatable consistency. At $7.00 + (with tax) for a 9 oz. package that has far too much liquid, it's definitely too pricey to use except as an alternative to my human grade, home cooked food for my babies. I need to know the dry matter phosphorus content since my 2 lb., 12 yr. old Yorkie is in Stage 2 of Kidney Failure, but several Attempts to contact the company to attain that information failed even with leaving messages requesting they return my call and give me that information; also Chewy attempted to attain the information and had the same result......so I'm not happy with the company but love the fact the food is totally human grade with no synthetic vitamins, etc., added...All vitamins are from actual food ingredients. Since I have a 2 lb. and a 5 lb. baby, I continue to use the food sporadically, but after doing all the paper towel blotting of the "goopy" liquid, the 9 oz. package shrinks to less, and is cost prohibitive to use very often.

Excellent dog food with no synthetic chelated minerals
This is a very good dog food and the pouches make it so easy to serve, much easier than the boxes. It looks like real food, the dogs love it, smells good, and in combo with Dr. Marty’s it has given my dogs beautiful coats and a lot more energy. Plus, I don’t have any overweight dogs and their muscle tone is excellent and there is less waste. Neither product to the best of my knowledge uses synthetic chelated minerals. After I lost a dog to copper storage disease and had a $7000 vet bill, I started researching chelated minerals. Found in almost all dog foods under various names. Unlike natural copper which can be sluffed, chelated copper cannot and builds up. It appears this disease is on the rise and many researchers feel it points to chelated (synthetic) copper. Most dog foods, including those claiming human grade and organic use chelated (synthetic) minerals because it is easy, cheap, and they can label their product as nutritionally complete. So please be careful.I believe in self-feed so I use Honest Kitchen (sadly chelated synthetic minerals) until I can find another dry dog food, for teeth cleaning crunch but they don’t eat much. I cook some for my dogs and add some Just For Dogs frozen (sadly chelated minerals). Hopefully, I have cut down on their exposure to chelated (synthetic) minerals enough to help and still be cost effective for me.

Not for a puppy
The food seems very good in terms of ingredients but my 4m old puppy got ill when she tried the chicken meal. She vomited and started a diaria with blood on the stool. I will wait a while until i consider again
