I loved the quality and wear of these skates. I haven’t been skating in years and these did not disappoint. Very comfortable and super easy for first time skaters. They fit very true to size and the look and wear was perfect for the price. I definitely would recommend these for beginners and intermediate skaters.

Bought these after seeing the good reviews for beginner skates, and I was not disappointed! The cushions in the boot make it more comfortable than cheaper skates, and skating with them felt really nice and smooth! They're true to size, though I bought a size up for a bit more allowance around my foot.

As a 56-year-old former skater, I decided to pick up skating again (for exercise) after decades of being off wheels. Imagine my surprise when I put on my very old skates and failed to do so much as a waltz jump! Turns out I needed to learn to skate all over again. I did a bunch of research and found that this skate had nearly everything I was looking for in a "value" skate...the right wheel size & wheel hardness, a padded tongue, an adjustable toe stop, and a metal plate. All of this at $60; I couldn't resist. I ordered them yesterday and received them today. They were packaged nicely. I always wear a women's size 7.5 in shoes; therefore, I ordered the 38 (7) and they fit perfectly. They are *slightly* wide on my feet. Almost not worth pointing out. I only did so for the women that have very narrow feet. My feet are just a bit narrow...socks will take care of this. The skates arrived with the toe stops too high, but they can easily be lowered. We have a hardwood floor in our living room, so I moved the coffee table, put the skates on, and skated for about 20 minutes. It was great! These skates are AWESOME! Totally worth $60 (or more)! Also, they look nice. For other women like me, who skated (a hundred years ago) in Riedell Silver Star or Gold Star skates, you will appreciate the beauty of these skates. Well worth the money; buy them while you can!

I bought these to learn how to skate, they are very comfortable. They have a strong tongue and backing, break in easily, have a removable toe-stop, and hybrid feeling wheels. These skates do not come with a tool for adjustments so be aware of that. You have to tie the laces yourself which did not surprise me and you can pay for a warranty which is nice. Its been good learning it is still very tricky for me, if you're planning on skating outdoors it might be a good idea to get outdoor wheels. These wheels do the job but I get tricked up on tiny pebbles in the road.Overall review, I love these and I can't wait to get good at skating! Do buy skater adjustment's tool though.

The media could not be loaded.  They're so cute, I like the ankle support. They're comfy. Love the adjustable toe stop, don't see that on a lot of other skates. Wheels are good enough for beginners. Good value for price, arrived quick. I saw some people only get one shoe lace, I got both with my skates. You do have to lace them yourself.

Great value and good quality

I'm a beginner skater and I was looking for comfortable steady skates. After researching several brands, I bought the top 4 I thought would work for me without breaking the bank. I got these Papaison $60, Roller derby Cruz $62, Candy girl $70, Tuosamtin $110. So far, Papaison takes the number 1 pick. Most comfortable and best rolling feel. I like the quality as well. They have all around padding that wraps around the ankle. The adjustable toe stopper is also a plus because i can adjust them to where i want them. They fit true to size, order half size down. If you wear size 8.5 get an 8. Overal, they look very chic and classy, perfect fit. I love them. Second choice are the Candy girl also very comfortable. They are made of soft sued that mould to your feet as you break them in. Third are the Tuosamtin. They are comfortable but i do not like how they roll. They also feel bulky. Roller derby Cruz have good esthetics but they are not comfortable. They are so hard and no cushion on the inside. The tongue digs into your ankle. They hurt my feet just trying them on. For beginners, I recommend the Papaison. Best skates, you will not go wrong with these. They are also the best bang for your bucks. I hope this helps someone trying to find good skates.

I love the fit of these skates! They are so comfortable. I wear a women's size 8-8.5. My foot measurement was exactly 9.75 inches so I ordered the EU size 38 and they fit perfectly. According to most conversion charts, I should wear size 39 but that has proved in the past to be too large. I have only worn them for about an hour to try them out but I can see spending hours skating with no discomfort.

They’re really comfy and arrive before expected. Just order your regular size I’m 8 (US) I ordered 7.5 based on the sizing chart they a bit tight but I think I’ll be keeping them
