The blanket heats up reasonably well. The heat cuts off after 3/4 to 1 hour, but comes on and goes off every so often thereafter. Whether this is a timer or thermostat, I don't know. Draws 3.4A at 13.2 V, so the 50 Watt rating is about right, at 12V. As with any electric blanket, one or more regular blanket(s) over it will help greatly to conserve heat. For this price, the blanket may not be rugged enough to sleep on top of it.This is a short term review, so I can't say how reliable this electric blanket will be. "Four Stars Plus."

Not worth the money so I returned it but unfortunately they will not give money back for posting back to them it cost £10 to send back they are refusing to refund this money

Bought this for my girlfriend as she’s often cold. Heats up very quickly and stays warm for a period of time. It doesn’t get insanely hot but just enough to be cosy. I’m going to buy another one for my mother.Only gave 4 stars as it will be difficult to clean if it gets dirty

Well that's snug! No on/off switch which would have been handy, but I can put that in myself. Gives really good heat. looking forward to first Winter camping. Nice to have the bed all warmed up before you get in. You can't lie on it, it's only an over blanket.For those of a technical background, it pulls 4 amps pretty much continuously. It ticks in and out once warm, but it's mostly on.

I'm not overly impressed with the heat from this blanket. It's large, and looks very nice, but not toasty as I expected it would be.

Bought this for a present and the person loves it! Especially on these cold mornings!

Loved this well the idea of it.dont no if mines faulty but dosent heat up very well.id say slightly warm
