Under Armour mens Stellar Side Zip Military and Tactical Boot, Black (001 Black, 10.5 US

Bought my boots for EMT school and I continue to use them for every shift of my job as well. So far they’ve been very reliable with the side zipper and the overall construction of the boot is nice. I am in a rural environment 80% of my calls for reference.So far, I’ve been in 90 degree (F) and I’ve been in 14 degree (F) weather and in both situations they’ve been awesome. The boot itself isn’t waterproof so I try to avoid deep puddles/mud as to keep my feet dry. They’ve handled snow well but I wouldn’t push it past 4 inches without fear of getting my feet wet due to the mesh permeation.The boot itself is very forgiving to wear. This is my first pair of actual boots and it very easy to wear. They do have a break-in period but if you are active in them, they wear in quickly.The side zipper is amazing. I would say the key to keeping the zipper NOT broken would be to be easy on the zipper pull and don’t wrench on it. The zipper on both boots still work well and haven’t given me any issues whatsoever.One of the downsides is that the boots don’t have a steel/plastic toe. Fortunately I haven’t had an instance where that’s been necessary however I know that’s a dealbreaker for some. The boots do have an ankle cup that keep your feet secure from the rear. No blisters or awkward rubbing from either the toe or heel and I can even get away with wearing ankle socks in these boots as well.The boots also clean up easy as well. I don’t shine them but if you want to make these REALLY stretch I would.In terms of slippage and grip, they are good in everything that I’ve run into except ice. You’ll definitely skate in these if ice in present. To be safe, I’d also be weary of painted surfaces that are wet as well. For reference, I wouldn’t wear these in a kitchen.I bough these at a size 10.5. My converse size is a 9 and my vans are a 10.5 (10 for slip-ons) and my Nike running shoes are a 10. Hopefully this size reference helps if you’re buying these online.If you do security work, urban medical, desk work, etc., I would highly recommend these. I’ve owned my pair for 6+ months of regular use and would probably buy another pair.

I don’t no why the bad reviews, however all I can say is you can’t please everyone all the time and there is always going to be that 10 percent that will be unhappy for one reason or another. I want to inform anyone reading this review, I have order 3 pairs one for each of my son’s and we have had them going on two years and not a tear or rip in them and in fact I am still wearing them, see the image. I just ordered two more pairs because they are that outstanding. They are very comfortable and easy to put on. They are a sneaker side zipper boot. Let say this if you take care of your boots they will take care of you with long wear. If you wearing them for Constuction you have the wrong boot for that. If you got a reject that could happen send them back and get a new pair. These shoes (I would not refer to them as boots) they are a decent quality pair of light weight, 8” high top trainers. Not intended for use in a harsh environment. Mine were comfortable right out of the box, we’re true to size and have held up well for the past year.

Needed a pair of "black footwear" for work. Figured boots would be my best bet, so I purchased these. Even light weight, there's plenty of cushion to withstand being on your feet for 8 to 10 hours. The side-zip functionality makes them extremely easy to take on and off. You can tie them once, and use the side-zipper to put on and remove these boots. The sizes listed to true to fit and add to the comfort level of these boots.

These boots are way better than expected! I'm a 23 year veteran police officer from Upstate NY area and I have worn Rocky's , High Techs and Danners throughout my career. These UA boots are by far the most comfy and yet still a professional looking police/security boot. They do not look like a sneaker which is such an unprofessional look.Also, so easy to get on and off because of that cool little side zipper !HIGHLY RECCOMMENED folks!!!

Great boots. The zippers save a lot of time and hassles! Very comfortable for daily walking! Great sale price!!! $30 to $50 dollars lower than retail priced UA Zip-Ups I've looked at before.

These boots are excellent! I work for a Fire Department full time and have been enjoying these as my duty boots. They are comfortable and fit as expected. Under Armour has made a nice quality product. I have owned these for about a month now, so I will update after a year on how they have worn in. Already I am recommending these to the other guys at the FD. I would like to see a future iteration with steel toes as an option.

I bought these shoes back near the end of May, and they came in a little tight, which you'd expect sometimes with new shoes. After two shifts, they wore in well and everything was great. I'm noticing three months later that the interior of the shoe where the top of my toes touch is almost bent in toward the top of the shoe, and causes undesired pressure on the front of my toes. I'll generally take these off after shift and find that the tips of my two biggest toes are white from poor circulation due to (I'm assuming) the pressure. The exterior of the shoes wore out pretty quick as well, even after being polished/shined bi-weekly (with great care). They were nice for an urgent purchase.
