Works great for what it is
Cuts down a decent bit of noise. When used in conjunction with other sound treatment it's great. If you use this in a big wmpty room you're still going to get the sound like you're in said space. It's not a magic product. But put this on, treat your surroundings, and you should be nice and clear.Fits my SM7B perfectly.

Works Great with my Rode PodMic
It works great with my Rode PodMic and does a great job of isolating the mic from the room.

Eh
I really didn't want to write this review because I have nothing constructive to say. It didn't really suit my needs but that was not the products fault. The quality seems good.

Does the job!
I can't really go into the whole process of creating a soundproof room to record my daily internet radio show. I've been getting by with software noise reduction, but still pick up a bit of echo. This thing does the job. Note to those leaving negative reviews. This product is for front-address mics (where you speak into the end) vs side-address (where you speak into the side). Of course the sound will be muffled if you're covering the capsule. Most of the other sound dampening products out there are made for side address mics, and should work for you...just not this one.

Very Nice but Very Big
I didnt really think much of how big this thing might be but even though the pictures for the product are photoshopped it really is pretty close to those pics with the computer and person. I'm kind of torn between returning it or keeping it. I do casts and commentary and its pretty imposing to see around to look at the monitor. Does seem really nice though, finally getting close to getting some good mic audio for once lol. For something to compare it too its not far off width wise to a gallon paint can, maybe 3/4 shorter height wise.

Takes a bit of setting up but works well enough
So far it has fit every single mic I have tried this with. Some do take a bit of jostling to get it fitting correctly but it has held up remarkably well considering I've tried shoving it on 6 different mics. For noise reduction it can work well, however, if it not positioned correctly it can cause a very heavy muffled sound, or it can make it sound like you're shouting down a pringles can. Which is not ideal. However, if you adjust and place it well so you are speaking directly into it, it can help.I do think there could potentially be better solutions, since this is quite bulky and its usefulness is limited outside of only a few circumstances I can think of. For most people, a box with some sound dampening foam will work better for you if you want to record narration or lyrics. This is not something I personally would want to keep on any of my mics long term. But, if you need something that could be portable since you aren't too sure how the acoustics of where you are traveling to will be. This might be good for that.Other than that it is well made.Pretty well designed, and does the job.

It works
No sure where the other reviews get the muffled sound from. I’ve had no problems. Have always recorded vocals with an SM58 and it gives a great studio sound. All you need is this, a IPad with Logic Pro and a SM58 and you’re good to go.
