EasyDAB ® DB-1 - In-Car Universal Plug-and-Play DAB/DAB+ Adapter with FM-Transmitter - Connects to Cigar Lighter Socket - 12v/24v

Quite a few issues with this product. First one isn't so much a problem with the DAB receiver itself, but due to my car having a heated front screen, the supplied arial was never going to happen. Despite it saying it is an SMB connection, this is completely wrong, as it is an MCX male required. Most external antenna available are a SMB female connection, so a MCX male to SMB male convertor will be required.Another issue, is the signal is nowhere near as good as the Pure Highway 300 I had previously in my old car, which always had a pretty decent signal, bar in heavily built up areas. This unit (using the same antenna as the Pure, located in the same area of the car) struggles in anything but open areas.I would not really recommend this product. Ideally if you do not have the windscreen issue, spend the extra on the Pure Highway 400 or 600, or for a cheaper alternative, the Sonichi S100

I have had two of these.First one was partially DOA as the selection knob did not work.I chose to replace it with another which is working.Pros;- Cheaper than others on the market.- Does not need mounting to a surface.- RDS Metadata- DAB+- USB portCons;- Audio streams stop in around 15 minute intervals.- Signal poorer than some others.- Selection knob barely works and often scrolls opposite way to which it's being rotated.- No presets.- Slow to send out RDS data. (RDS volume issue?)- Poor handling of low bitrate streams.These opinions are in comparison with a Sonichi S100 (which died twice so not glowing)After less than a year I am already looking at replacing.

It did not plug and play. Could not get any DAB stations. It is not my area as previous Pure Highway worked brilliantly.Also the gooseneck is not very flexible so the unit would have been in the way in my car.Returning.

Installed as directed. Receiver was left tuning for over an hour to no change. Useless! Changed product for another brand which worked immediately

Rubbish, did not work

Complete rubbish signal terrible have even purchased a proper dab Ariel and no better dab in my van is perfect so definitely not the area I live in. Sending this back asap very disappointing

Only took a few minutes to install and worked perfectly first time with full range of dab stations.
