Although a simple enough design, it's well printed. This mug is a standard size - the design looks very similar to some of the large mugs you can get, so I was a little disappointed that my brownian motion generator was not of an extended capacity. The dimensions are, of course, accurate, but I don't look at my mugs and go "I want an 82mm diameter mug today". If you do, please comment below, because I'm curious to know how many people assess their mugs based on the metric system, rather than the proven Imperial measurements of "just half a cup", "a mug" and "a really big mug" or possibly "vat".

Took me awhile to find a Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy mug I wanted (and at a price I could justify). I had even tried flagging down a passing ship with my towel but even they didn't know of such a mug, and they'd travelled to Milliways and back. Then, improbably, google pointed me in the right direction and I found this mug. Tastier than a bowl of petunias, this mug is designed perfectly for one serving from a Nutrimatic drinks dispenser and boy does it deliver every time. It even helped me survive through poetry recital by a VogonEdit 2021:This mug is still going strong and is barely faded. Continue to highly recommend to any frood. Could even be used to distract a robotic tank as a last resort.

Came very well packaged in protective box. Survived long train journey into Belgium. Husband loves it- if you have a fan of the series in your family this makes an excellent gift. Quite thick china
