Having gone through many disposable pen lights I thought I would try and help save the planet, the torch clip(normally the first thing to break) is very sturdy and has already taken a couple of bends the wrong way and is still holding strong. The torch itself has the right setting for pupil checks although if you get the cycle wrong it can be too bright so always worth a check first or suffer the angry patient!Run time on batteries is great well worth the money IMHO, pupil gauge is helpful too.

First flashlight did get lost in mail, and did not arrive by the final due date. However the seller was quick to respond and send a replacement.The flashlight is really good, very bright at highest setting. Which is incredible for its small size. It also has very slight texture to it which makes it really grip to gloves with out slipping with out being harsh on bare hands.Starting in low mod is very useful in day to day, as you don't night blind your self or others.one small negative is that the button on the back feels bit lose, that can be fixed with 1-2 thin peaces of cardboard if you can take of the very back cap of the flashlight that's about 2mm thick. just put 1-2 peaces of card inside the rubber cap.

Excellent pen torch. It’s pricier than the disposable ones with the press down clip on-switch, but is much brighter (3 luminosities, the last being very bright) and much more reliable for someone who leaves their pen torch in a pocket or a bag (I.e. isn’t on by accident due to virtue downward pressure on the clip from something else in the bag). Also nice that you can use rechargeable batteries instead of having to repurchase a bunch of disposables every year or so.

Good quality torch. My wife, who is a Registered General Nurse, finds it very useful with a pupil gauge and being able to disinfectant with alcohol based cleaners.
