EatonWiring TR1107B Tamper Resistant Decorator Duplex Receptacle, Brown

This is decent receptacle. My only issue is that different Cooper products all seem to have different versions of white. This model does NOT match the Cooper TR7735W, which is also listed as "white." The TR7735W is an almost grey-white, while this model is a more traditional bright white. This is only a problem if you put them together in a 2-gang box (like I needed). Both models also don't match the Cooper faceplate (PJS262W). How hard is it to make a consistent white? Impossible, apparently. Other than that, it's a perfectly acceptable receptacle.

This is a well made, sturdy outlet. Much better compared to Big Box store's low cost receptacles. And the price from Amazon was reasonable for a quality product.

Really nice find - Gray, Tamper Resistant and Decora shaped. These are almost impossible to find at your local Big Box store, especially these higher quality ones. They look much better with our stainless backsplash in the kitchen than white or almond. Also look great with Gray painted walls!

This unit was 'child proof'. While that sounds good, it made plugging things in very difficult. I didn't know that at the onset or I would have bought something else.

I feel silly reviewing an electrical outlet. The quality is good, design and color are nice and it conducts electricity as expected. If you prefer the squared design and designer colors you can save a lot of money buying from Amazon.

Functioned as expected. Not much else to say.

I hate tamper resistant. They work but I still hate them.
