Shure HPAEC440 Replacement Headphone Cushions, Ear Pads for SRH440 Professional Studio Headphones (Pair)

I recently purchased these for replacing my worn out Sony MDR-7506 headphone ear pads. All I can say is WOW !!!! These are absolutely perfect for them. They have a smooth surface whereas the original Sony ear pads were sort of crinkled in appearance. These create a a perfect seal and the sound is awesome - I should have replaced the much worn Sony's sooner. They are also extremely comfy, very soft and feel great on my head and completely encircle my ears. Installation was extremely easy - 5 minutes tops from opening the box to having them on the headphones and plugged in. There are a number of reviews on this Amazon site that state these pads are way too loose for the Sony''s V6 and 7506. That is INCORRECT or AT LEAST MISLEADING as they are referring to the HPAEC840 pads which are bigger and would be loose on the Sony headhphones. Apparently all the reviews for Shure replacement pads are lumped together in the reviews here on Amazon. These pads (HPAEC440) are smaller than the 840's and fit perfectly on the Sony 7506. I believe that the 7506 and Sony V6 headphones are very, very similar in design and structure so I would expect these to fit the same on those. If you want these for replacement of Sony ear pads, just make sure you buy the ones for the Shure HPAEC440. I placed these right on top of the Sony pads I removed and they are exactly the same size however the Shure provides a little more room for your ear inside. The outside or part of the pads that fit on the Sony ear cups appear to be almost identical. So for you Sony V6 and 7506 owners looking for some awesome pads (at a great price too) look no further - buy these. I feel sure you'll be very satisfied.

I have a pair of Shure SRH440's that I have had forever. I bought them at Radio Shack if that gives you an idea of how old they are. They are however one of the best set of headphones I have owned! They are super comfortable and they still sound great. Over time the headpiece and the ear cups have deteriorated... I wrapped the headpiece with black electrical tape to keep the peeling vinyl out of my hair, but what to do about the ear cups.I found these on Amazon and decided to take a chance on them. These installed easily and look just like the originals. The feel over my ears is the same as well. Can't be any happier with the product.

Perfect fit and would buy again. They are easy to put on and feel sort to the touch.

Fit Senal SMH-1000 headphones perfectly. These are slightly more roomy than the original pads, and are worlds more comfortable. They did dry out and crack after a while, but have been relatively nice for a year on.

The earphones are a comfortable and an exact match. I would recommend them.

The replacement pads fit as expected on my SRH440 they are holding up pretty well, just like the ones the headphones came with.

Just to reassure what others already said, the ear cushions are way more comfortable than the original ones. It's almost identical to the original, but you can feel that the material is more soft and fits better on the ears.

Las compré por 10 dolares ya envíadas (con prime), en fotos pudieran tener un aspecto muy generico, pero se sienten casi como si fueran de piel. La esponja es firme, pero suave, no duele ni incomoda.En cuanto a sonido diría que son semi open, aunque son mis primeras almohadillas que compro.Las compré para reemplazo de unos Mee Matrix2 y unos Philips Citiscape Uptown, aunque no se ajustan como los originales, se ajustan lo suficientemente bien al hacer que cubran el audifono, aunque no se si esto modifique un poco el sonido.La verdad me han hecho querer comprar más, ya que se sienten mejor que muchas almohadillas stock.

Love my SRH440s but my pads were dry and cracked. It was either buy these or spring for a new set of headphones.OEM, fits as expected; good as new!
