Using for 13 years & still like new!
Bought multiples of these pads back in 2010 after my Mom had a stroke. She had occasional issues with incontinence and these pads were wonderful. Looked nice and provided a more dignified preventative measure (and no disposable material going to a landfill!).We placed these in her assisted living apartment recliner, in our car and at our home (we brought her here several times each week). Later, they were great on her wheelchair, as well.Washed & dried daily. The assisted living facility loved them! For washing, we used the special detergent formulated for cleaning the chlorine out of swimsuits. Worked like a dream for removing urine odor. They still look like new!She died in 2013 and these pads found a new life in each of our vehicles. Wonderful as lap pads when eating in the car!!I highly recommend them! Buy them, you won't regret it.

Has held up for 8 years and running
I got this to protect an expensive Tempur-pedic computer chair cushion mainly because I have a cat who occasionally vomits and so an accidental spill wouldn’t be devastating. My cat did vomit on the chair and it protected the top, although it dribbled over the edge and I had to clean that out. Now I keep a waterproof pillowcase cover under it to protect the edges. Considering ordering another to try on my couch’s arm because all the purportedly waterproof armchair covers reportedly don’t work.

Good but has the same issues all these pads have
the tl&dr here is: the waterproof-ness of all these pads only lasts for a while so you eventually end up replacing them typically after a few months to around half a year if you're washing/drying them frequently. This isn't due to a design defect or because the pad construction is poor. Its because the waterproof layer doesn't hold up well to washing or drying. In particular drying!! Happens to all the pads no matter which one you buy.The way I've found to make them hold up is to wash them with cold water only in the washer and let them air dry on a line or hanging up in the shower. Don't put them in the dryer!! I've been able to get them to stay waterproof for nearly a year doing that. I've heard some say that they only hand wash them in the tub with cold water with dish soap and air dry them on a clothes line which can make them last upwards of a year but haven't seen it work yet myself.Personally I'm a bit lazy to go and do it really but its worth a shot if you want to get the most out of it.The pad itself is fine and looks ok. Stitching has held up well so far after nearly a month of use and it does grip the seat reasonably well so it doesn't bunch up too much. I only have to readjust it every week or so. None of the edges are curling up like others that I've seen which is nice.Comfort-wise its a thin pad, maybe 1/4 inch thick, so it really doesn't offer much cushioning nor does it much effect the cushion of the chair you're sitting in. Which is fine if you're like me and don't need more padding. Size-wise they're perfect for recliners or other large-ish chairs. On smaller chairs they'll overhang way to much and there isn't any ties or anything to take up the extra fabric so it'll look silly.

Pad works but fades with first wash
I followed washing instructions but the pad faded with first wash. Still absorbent but doesn't match chair now.

GREAT!!
I actually got this to go inside my dogs car seat. I have a almost 2-year-old Yorky and he definitely is somewhat potty trained but not fully and definitely has a few accidents in the car even though I stop to let him out for a potty break. And with the traveling a lot it definitely does get hard when I have to constantly stop and clean the seats. So I got this to help it’s very absorbent and since he doesn’t pee so much because he is a little dog it does help. When I get to the hotel I can just wash it there and it washes pretty easily and comes out smelling amazing. I would definitely recommend this it doesn’t leak through I’ve never had a problem with that even after a few washes it’s still good. I also use it in his stroller as well when I take him on walks when I decide to go hiking and so on! Overall it’s a good product, great price, and worth the buy :)

Quality has changed, very disappointing
I purchased 4 of these burgundy pads and after washing all four have white streaks through them and even after several washings they are still stiff. I have purchased several of these in the past and none of them have white streaks and after washing they are quite soft. Obviously the quality is not as good as it was previously. I am very disappointed. If I could find a replacement I would have returned them, unfortunately the only other burgundy ones I can find are smaller in size. No, I would not recommend these.

Poor Quality
I ordered five of these protective pads for my 89 year old mother’s recliner chair due to occasional incontinence. They were not cheap but the colour matched her chair and the size was perfect. I liked the plush look of them and opted for what I assumed was a better quality product. Each pad is washed one to two times per week in cool water and hung to dry, never put in the dryer. What a mess. As you can see from the pictures, the pile falls out during washing leaving nothing but the bare fabric underneath. They are still moisture resistant but for the price, I would have expected that they would have held up much better than this. Given what they are and what they are used for, they obviously have to be washed regularly but clearly they are not manufactured well enough to be cleaned. So disappointing.

Was not usable after first wash
This product look great out of the package and I had high expectations since it looks similar to the ones I’ve been using for years. BUT they were unusable after the first wash. The top layer made a huge mess in my washer and dryer.

good value for the money
I have four of these for my elderly kitty, who has accidents. I have become very familiar with incontinence pads since then, and these are good value for the money. They are well constructed and so far have lasted well when I throw then in the washer and dryer. They aren't the most deluxe on the market, but when you need a lot of them, their value is good. And they do the job, which is to absorb pee.

Great
Am using item as a seat chair cover on a wheelchair. It is a bit large but tucking it in here & there and it works well. It grips reasonably well and rarely has a messy appearance. I also use this cover on recliner seat chairs. This is my second purchase and will order again as needed. Covers were delivered promptly. They are nicely made as well.
