It revealed facts that I had no knowledge of. The details about how patterns were used as code was amazing.

I had this book several years ago and made the quilt, which I love. I lost my book in a move. I want to make another quilt and decided to purchase a new book. The book will not disappoint. I am not an expert quilter but my quilt came out beautiful. I found her directions very easy.

I can’t wait to dig into the different stories about the quilt blocks!

Lovely book. Suitable for anyone learning quilting. Instructions easy to follow. Diagrams for everything you need from rulers to material. Can make wall hangers or a lovely quilt.

The book is lovely and one I wanted as I enjoy Eleanor Burns a Quilt in a Day books. The package was well wrapped and the book arrived in good condition and was as described used but good. As a quilter this book is two fold as it gives the basic blocks but gives meanings to them in the railrod quilt arena and also gives a brief history of the railroad quilting story.

As described with a few notes on the inner pages but doesn't detract from the book. Definitely not her usual quilt in a day book with its unnecessarily complicated instructions.
