Thorns of Love: A Dark Mafia Romance: 2 (Thorns of Omert)

Loved the plot and the characters. The thrill and suspense going on made the plot more interesting. A great end to an amazing story.

I was so invested in this book. Tatiana & Illias finally were tied down together forever. There were some twists that were predictable and some which were not. Still the book had me on the edge of my seat. Tatiana was impulsive and stubborn but it didn't make me love her any less. Illias was smitten and could go to any lengths to keep her safe. The love Illias had for Tatiana was pure and all consuming, it was nice to finally see Tatiana reciprocate it too. The epilogue was so adorable and contained a perfect HEA! The crumbs of the next book and some new characters give us a glimpse of what's to come next and I am definitely excited to read the books that Eva will be releasing henceforward!

Like always I’ve enjoyed Eva’s books. This was the perfect ending to the duet of Ilias and Tatiana yet gave you hints of the next books in this series. The one about Isla has got me really excited. The steam was amazing. Especially chapter 8 😉 but please make sure you read Thorns of Lust first. Triggers are it’s a mafia story so expect those types of things.

Loved Tatiana and Konstantin's story! Read both books within 24 hours, couldn't put it down!! Their connection and chemistry was incredible ...it was the perfect mix of drama, banter, romance, violence and steam

This book is such a surprise. I thought book 1 was great, but I was not prepared for the Holla Stella badness of book 2. Whoever said falling in love is easy didn't know what they were talking about. Tatiana and Konstantin's situation is not only complex, but it's also downright complicated.The twist and turns book 2 takes you on are unparalleled. The secrets, lies, betrayal, and revenge....I highly recommend reading this duet.

I’m so in love with this pair! Tatiana got way she deserved! I loved her in this! Cannot wait for more stories with the Kingpins and Omertà. I love of Eva ties together her worlds!

⭐️Please don’t let this review keep you from reading because I really did like this duo and will definitely keep reading this series. I just have some hang ups I can’t ignore because for me they kept the books from being fantastic to just good. The plot and story line are what made it for me but the certain repetitive habit of the authors writing style in my opinion made the books less.So I LOVED ❤️the plot of this book and set up for future series. It was gripping and kept me turning pages. 🤩I really LIKED the over all Duo (even though I dislike Duos) But I began to HATE and eye-roll the extreme overuse of the word Sardonic 🙄. GIRLL find another way to express someone sighing….breathy, heavy, lightly, quietly… anything!! Lol. Sometimes the word sardonic didn’t even fit. Also stuck on the phrase Red Mist, the repeated saying his dad told him and the repetition of the past scenes. Once or twice maybe 3 times ok, but it was overkill like she thought the readers had somehow forgotten the story they’ve been reading and had to constantly remind us.The plot is really what kept me turning the pages.. I did love Konstantin. Tatiana’s grieving period was stretched out in the book more so than needed I thought. I loved that we got to have her brothers in this book also. And we met Elsa. Can’t wait for her story 😍 The Spice was wonderful although as thoroughly detailed as the pages were in all the rest of the sexual encounters I thought it a bit odd that when the “A” sex did finally happen it was only 1 1/2 kindle pages worth of time. Just off compared to rest of the smexy times descriptions.Again overall great book can’t wait for the next.. girl I hope you found a new word in the next book. S-I-G-H letting out out a sardonic sigh 😉lol
