Great for Tesla Y
We used this tent for trip to Scottish highlands and it was great. It fits well for Tesla Y however we couldn’t open the boot fully but this was not a big deal. Tent is spacious and sturdy.

This is so easy to put up. Fitted the tail gate really well, and is water proof.. Really enjoyed my 1st car tent outing..

Regarding uk campsites / cancer chemicals label
We got this as a present and someone wrote that no campsites accept them in the UK.we have not found this to be true. Perhaps they where looking at camping sites only rather than touring sites etc? Having connected over 12 they all have no issue.I'll let you know about how got the actual tent is later!Edit: this tent was returned. When we put the tent up we found a label. On this label it was written 'this contains chemicals KNOWN TO CAUSE CANCER' yep , not may cause .... actually known to cause! No way was we sleeping in a cancer tent. Don't get me wrong, if you smoke/ vape , this is the tent for you. For us, we like to kill ourselves by unknown means!

Campsites don't like it
I would strongly advise anyone considering this to think carefully about when they will actually be able to use it. The tent itself is great, but so far not one UK campsite that we have visited or spoken to will allow you to bring your car onto the pitches for anything other than unloading. At best, they will put you in with the campervans, but more than likely you will just end up using this as a very expensive normal tent

Great buy! Perfect solo, one person set up tent.
I sure did not expect to love this tent as much as I did after one use.My first set up out of the box was at the beach, at 4pm, during some ridiculously heavy sundowners. This thing was so easy to go up it’s almost like I was mocking the wind. I was inside and waiting for the wind phase to pass within minutes(20min max)That said, I would start with the car attachment first (secures the structure and everything else is easy). Also, the singly opens on multiple sides so, again attach the sides that says, vehicle first.Held up during the wind and I got and;ight drizzle my last morning - no leaks - no moisture inside. I waterproofed and seam sealed after I cleaned it out when I got home.I used sandbags inside the tent at the stake point and used buckets with sand bags for the canopy tie downs. Worked like a champ.I’ll still use my 10 man Coleman undone for the fancy “special guest” camping but this is my new solo mission, bonsai on the fly got a last minute cancellation weekend camping trip. It will live in my car.The solar lights were a harbor freight impulse buy. They were awesome, too

Exactly as pictured/expected.
Very easy to assemble, easy to repack (key), lots of height which is nice, and seems very durable. I'm really happy with this tent. Can't wait to christen it on a trip to the Yukon.

Awesome tent, easy set up! Even fits back in its bag!
Awesome tent!! Only took 10 minutes to set up and I managed to do it on my own, at night with a lantern. Allowed for a comfortable set up, with my self inflatable mattress in the back of the car. The attachment to the car fits well on my Hyundai ix35. I didn’t get it to completely seal though and the straps and hooks were a bit confusing and wouldn’t attach to my car door handles or anything really. But I guess it depends on the car and I could have tried harder lol. I was happy with the tiny gaps and we didn’t get any unwanted guests. I’ll try a bit harder next time and might get some strong magnets to seal, as others have suggested. The tent even fit back into the original bag (extended)!I haven’t tested it in poor weather and have only used for two nights.Overall, I love this tent! Looking forward to the next trip.

Works very well would have preferred a slightly larger opening attachment for the car
Bought for a one person trip so did not go with the larger 10 x 10 size tent easy to put up although one of the tunnels for the supporting polls was slightly narrow, requiring a small amount of fiddling to get it to pass through. Would have preferred a little bit bigger diameter of the opening by about 6 inches as when you back into the opening, it’s very hard to tell. If you are a line properly on my second photo you could see that I actually had to back up a little too far to get it around the rear. Even so the tent poles held up wonderfully, and after attach was able to move forward a little to take the strain off the tent.Like many of these SUV tense you need something to hold down the tent in the valley of the curve of the body if your SUV is not relatively square I used magnets

Easy to set up
I wanted a tent I could set up myself (60+ and 5’4). First set up took me just over 10 minutes and I didn’t need the instructions. (just the tent and fly, not the car attachment or the awning). After the fourth setup in 3 weeks, time to set up was 8 minutes, including fly. I used the pole from the awning to get the fly over the tent. I did not set up the awning or attach to my car. I unzipped the car attachment and left it at home as I knew my car would not be parked near the tent. I did not experience rain or low night/early morning temperatures. I will be autumn camping so will come back here if there are any issues for that.
