Took me about 2 hours to break a corner on a fine chisel. If you buy this, do so to learn or practice. The chisels are good with lino blocks, but wood will require you to purchase sharpening stones to keep the edge on inexpensive steel.

I bought this kit because I really wanted to try out wood carving. This is such a great kit for a beginner that come with a variety of different tools. I am extremely happy with it!

I got these as I'm just starting to get into woodworking. Within a few hours of using them, one of the tips broke off. This might be a good set for a beginner, but beware they may break easily.
