very nice looking, sturdy, nightmare to assemble
Out of the box, my husband and I were very pleased with the quality of the pieces. Strong metal frame and good quality shelves that, while heavy, looked as good as the pictures advertised. We put a lot of things together as a team and, so far, have had no problem assembling furniture. In fact, we usually have a lot of fun doing this type of stuff. Putting THIS shelf together, however, was not a fun experience. The closet-shelf was designed very well except the hardware left much to be desired. It would have been easier to assemble pieces if both the screws and the brackets that held the shelves into the frame had been a bit longer. The shelf must be perfectly aligned in order for the short brackets to fit inside the holes and not fall out. It was very frustrating to have such a quality piece of furniture fall short due to poor hardware. And that is not all. Each shelf has pre-drilled holes, and they can fit only into certain parts of the shelves, especially the lower ones, you cannot just install them wherever you want on the frame (very annoying). As for if I would buy it again, the answer is no. No matter how nice the final product looks, it is not worth the time and frustration in our 21st century where most of the things are modular/pre-built/pre-assembled/plug and play. So, if you have never built a piece of furniture, this is definitely not the place to start.

Beautiful, well made closet hanger with shelves. Can also be used as a vanity. Hard to assemble.
This is a beautiful, simple closet vanity that you can use in two ways: as a closet hanging and storage unit - it has two faux marble shelves and a total of three shelves. You can use it as a hanging and storage unit, as a vanity with extra shelves on top, or as both. I'll be using mine for both, but my closet has hanging rods all around it, so I can't put this in the closet. It's too pretty to keep it shut up in a closet anyway. This unit has five shelves, two of them in faux marble, three of them adjustable, including an extra-deep vanity shelf which I'm going to use as a vanity table. I put mine in my bedroom; it doesn't take up much floor space but gives me lots of storage space, which I need badly. This vanity/closet hanger was hard to put together. Lots of parts, and then you have to nail it to the wall. I couldn't put mine where I wanted to put it because you need to find the studs in the wall to nail this to it, and we haven't even finished doing that yet.Very pretty closet hanger with shelves that can also be used as a vanity, but it has to be nailed to your wall wherever you use it. This part proved to be a pain in the tail. I deducted one star for this and for how complicated it is to assemble and set up, plus how many parts it has. This is very nice, and I'd love to have room to use it for a vanity, but since it only has two legs I can't do that without nailing it to studs, or so I have been told. This is a very pretty vanity and has tons of storage space, but I wouldn't buy this again.

weak connections and poor design, simply unsafe to use
I waited a few months to assemble this closet-shelves system / bookcase. The directions were reasonably easy to follow and you only need a screw driver to finish setting it up.There are numerous problems that I encountered. Ultimately, I took this to the dump rather than using it because of safety concerns. The Good: - relatively simple directions and setup for two people (more challenging with one) - shelves have a pleasant marble look to them and heavy weightThe Bad: - flimsy metal frame can barely support the weight of the shelves much less anything on them - incredibly bad structural design, 8 small screw posts hold the entire thing together, if you are off a little the screw clasps will not be able to catch the metal posts, there are no dowel rods or other mechanisms to support the weight, normally furniture like this will use a metal or wood rod next to a screw post that is latched in, this helps to line everything up during assembly and gives needed support afterwards, nothing like that is present. The other obvious choice would be to use the shelf connections to provide support, nope not here. They sit loosely in there slots and do not provide actual support. The design requires you attach four anchors into your wall to hold up the shelves, so it needs to be flat against the wall. If the top of the baseboards in the room is above 4.6 inches, you will not be able to install this flat against the wall without cutting out part of your baseboards. The levelers at the bottom of the two support rails do not extended past that without becoming detached. The rails need to be flat against the wall for the anchor screws to stay in place. My experience was with two people lifting up the shelves from laying flat on the floor was just enough change in pressure for it to collapse upon itself (see photo). I could have rebuilt it and attached it to the wall, but it's in no way structurally sound enough to be safe in my opinion. The key connection points are too weak for the heavy shelves.Bottom line, don't buy this. Hard pass.
