I used this as a Feng Shui item in my house and since installing have found a calming influence.Love the Chinese engraved images and the sound of the chime when going is struck.

Bought as a joke present, great little gift, downside is cheaper metal ping rather than deep bong
If like me you want something as a fun present this is good, it's not the most stable when you strike the metal disc and the noise is rather tinny and not at all what you would expect but for a fun cheap present it is okay. If you are serious and want a desktop gong pay more and get one that is more stable and sounds like you would expect it to

Just what i was looking for
Very happy with the quality and look of it, good price and good product. I wanted a dinner gong, which used to be readily available years ago, but now are hard to find...at least ones that are reasonably priced. Its loud and decorative, no complaints at all.

Nice small gong 🥁 🪘
I didn't expect anything spectacular for the size, but it makes a nice ding. My only comment would be the mallet that it comes with makes it sound to tinny. It would be better it it came with a felt wrapped mallet to give a deeper sound. Thankfully, I have one from my singing bowls 🧘♀️
