Quality water container
These water containers are excellent. Well made, solid plastic, great for stacking. With an anti tamper lid, whatever is put into container, you know that nothing can easily get into it. Good colour container, makes it harder for light to penetrate. If you need to store water, for emergency use, these containers are ideal. A first class product at a fair price.

Robust and well-designed
I've used a couple of these tanks to store diesel temporarily extracted from a marine fuel tank while it is being replaced and they are perfect for the job. They are strong and sturdy, and I particularly like the gauge along the edge which shows the contents in litres. The anti-glug design is another bonus, though I usually use a siphon on the boat which avoids any spillage. Strongly recommended.

The cap is not 🚫 a water tight seal
I use these for storing and moving water 💦 , the cap is not 🚫👎 a water tight seal ' and doesn't have any sort of sealing washer ' which may not be a problem with the container 🫙 being stored upright or stacked !!!The anti glue system works ' but prevents you from dropping a pump over 38mmm diameter into the container 🫙 !!!My 50mm pump would fit inside if the container 🫙 didn't have the anti glue moulding inside the neck of the container 🫙 !!!Once the container 🫙 cap is screwed on ' you can only remove it by breaking the sealing ring that's moulded to the cap !!!I stored tap water 💦 in a dark 🌑🕶️ room in the container 🫙 for a week ' but found that the water started to smell ' and when an electric ⚡ tap was used to draw water 💦 out ' we found blue plastic bits in the water 💦 !!!It's probably best to sterilize the water container 🫙 with rubbing alcohol or a 3% mix of hydrogen peroxide before use ' and definitely rinse it out first !!!Ultimately all drinking 🚰 water should be boiled before consumption ' but it's probably also a good 👍😊 idea 💡 to use an RO unit with a high pressure pump !!!RO filter's can remove salt 🧂 from sea water 🌊💦 and other harmful 🦠🧫 organisms ' but they must be maintained ' and keep clean 🫧🪥 !!!On the container 🫙 I would have liked a larger opening ' so that I could insert my sterilized ' pump ' and I would have liked some sort of sealing ring in the cap ' but I realize that bacteria 🦠🧫 could build up on a sealing ring in the cap of the container 🫙 !!!I'm sure it's perfect for the UN ' but it's not 🚫 really suitable for my purposes !!!If I had to end on a positive note ' then I'd say that there's a good 👍😊 chance that the container 🫙 will prevent light getting into the container which could cause the build-up of algae or other organisms ' but you should still try and store this in a cool dark place !!!I have tried stacking my two containers and they stacked perfectly okay 👍😊 !!!There is one warning that I would give about using an RO unit ' and that is that the filters also filter out important vitamins and minerals that the body needs ' so it may be a good idea to try and get those vitamins and minerals from a food source !!!Obviously immersing most materials in boiling water will sterilize them ' but this is not helpful with any heavy metals like lead !!!If water is circulated at a reasonable rate under the uv3 produced by sunlight like in a stream then it normally also kills harmful bacteria that can build up in stagnant water but there are UV lamps that can also be used !!!
