I replaced the 3/4hp stock motor on my 14” Ridgid bandsaw that has a 6” riser block. With this motor the saw can resaw an 11” board without stalling, but it does still slow down a bit if you feed too fast. This is better than it was able to do on a 5” board before the upgrade. As a result of the more even speed the cut is much smoother as well. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade, especially considering the cost of a new saw.The only issue is the wiring box is on the other side from the original and it interferes with the door slightly.

I bought this motor to replace the 1/2HP motor that comes with a Central Machinery 14" bandsaw (Harbor Freight.) The motor is quiet, powerful, and easy to install. The wiring diagram was printed on the label, although you will want to double check the wiring labels, they can be a bit difficult to make out (T2, P2, etc.) Fortunately they are printed multiple times on the wires. After installation I'm able to resaw hardwood at max height (6") without the motor slowing at all.

It's an electric motor that works exactly as it's supposed to. Great packaging for shipment, too, so it arrived in very good condition, which doesn't hurt, either. I'd definitely buy again.

Motor did not work. I returned and the new one cost $46 more expensive, one week later.

A very nice motor, smooth and quiet. Has plenty of power for a belt grinder.

my restaurant hood motor has been broken. I got this motor and I found a mechanic to help me install it. He said that the motor made by this brand is very good, and I hope so!
