Kindle version - great!
Kindle version - the pages can be zoomed in, also goes frame by frame. Horizontal or vertical. I really enjoyed getting to read those original comics and seeing where my heroin came from and her early years. I can't wait for them to make Volume 2 available on Kindle!

a nicely packaged and presented collection of the earliest Wonder Woman ...
First things first: the cover you see here isn't the cover you'll get when you order this book. For whatever reason, Amazon is currently showing the cover of Wonder Woman no. 1, a comic you will find inside this volume. Anyway, on to the book itself: a nicely packaged and presented collection of the earliest Wonder Woman comics. Specifically, it's got the short from All Star # 8, Sensation Comics # 1 - 14, Wonder Woman # 1-3, and a story from Comic Cavalcade # 1. Covers are included, but no additional stuff (and no non-WW stories from Sensation). The stories themselves hold up better to a modern reader than I expected, honestly. Though clearly a product of their time, they're pretty forward thinking. And, of course, slightly goofy in that charming Golden Age way. I had fun reading them, and felt no qualms about loaning it to a girl.

The original writer with all its weirdness
After reading “The Secret Life of Wonder Woman” I realized I needed to see and read the original concept of the original writer (or the ideas of his two wives.) Much was written about bondage (it’s there, but somewhat harmless), the feminism (not subtle), and the pro-labor slant (which would not exist in today’s comics.) Focusing on these aspects makes this volume somewhat subversive and humorous. I’m not sure this series would be number 3 (after Superman and Batman) if it was written with the feeling of Wonder Woman today. If you read this get the biography cited above. It makes for a great duo. And - I’m not sure when in these 3 volumes the original writer is canned, but it must be somewhere in volume 2 is my guess. I think this is why volume 1 is so sought after.

Old Fashioned Fun
See the original of the "feminist" classic. Very simple - minded, with WW II stereotypes of Germans and Japanese, and 1930s "girlies". But there are uncompromising strong women and the idea that women should rule. See bios of Marston and of course the film.

Un must-have

classic comic stories
Nice collection of Golden Age Wonder Woman stories. Rather an acquired taste as the early stories are roughly written and even rougher drawn by H. G. Peter who, along with William Marston, found every opportunity to put her in bondage. Not enamored by the re-coloring as it makes the stories look garish, would have preferred the coloring was closer to the original or if the paper were more like newspaper stock rather than the slicker paper used in this book.Still an affordable collection of long out of print and extremely expensive to get stories.

Nice reprinted comic collection of Wonder Woman
Except of too expensive shipping cost (over 6 euros while being an Amazon prime member and ordering from Amazon...) and cheaper price on amazon.com, I am happy with my order. It is thick, with more text than in new comics, so you can enjoy reading it for longer time. I am a history fan, so for me is very interesting the fact that the time of the adventures of Wonder Woman were during WWII. You can see how the USA displayed German soldiers and the situation during WWII and it is just interesting from the historical point as well. Wonder Woman was meant to encourage ladies to be stronger and was finally first female hero in comics, so that is another thing, what makes the book more interesting. It starts from the beginning of Wonder Woman, so it is suitable for the people, who want to start reading comics. Note that it is a reprint, so the book is brand new. To sum it up, a little too expensive, but was worth to buy.
