Cat Scratcher, 17.3"L x 7.9"W x 4.7"H, Reversible Design for Double Service Life

My cat actually wouldn’t touch this at first, so I thought it was a bad buy. But then I decided to flip it so that the long side was against the floor, and he uses it all the time now. As a vertical scratcher, it’s not super sturdy on it’s own, which I suspect is why my cat didn’t want to use it vertically

This is a good quality cardboard and is tall enough for stretching and scratching. Assembly is a bit weird and cumbersome, but not difficult. It goes together with plastic screws, which can be removed so you can flip the pieces when one side gets worn down. I didn’t encase the catnip ball in the scratcher, but they love chasing the ball around.

Building was semi easy, comes with all you need. A bit wonky putting it together but it is not difficult. We shall see how long it lasts my in and out household of 8 cats!

When you are a cat owner, it feels like you are always going through scratching posts trying to find one that doesn't leave cardboard everywhere or that your cats actually like. This one is one of the best ones that I have had! It doesn't leave a mess when they're done, it is long so they can stretch when they scratch, and it comes with two balls that you can slot in between the layers so they can play with. I did not put them in because my cats frankly couldn't care less about them but it definitely adds a fun element to it that most posts don't have.Overall great!

This scratcher requires you to attach the side pieces to the cardboard core with included flathead screws. It’s very easy to assemble but I left a little too much of a gap between the vertical pieces so the smaller toy doesn’t stay put in the gap of the vertical pieces. The gaps are meant to trap the toys. My rather large little kitten anchors the base and stretches to the top sections. He’s been stretching on the walls and trim so this is a lovely distraction and works as intended.

The tool they gave you is absolutely worthy I used my own screwdriver. There is no alignment point or marks. It doesn’t look very durable. Hopefully the cardboard scratching pads, Don’t flake off and get all over the house.

This was annoying to put together but well worth it. My cats loves it so much he sits on it constantly. Great scratcher that keeps him off my upholstery.

Very easy to put together and surprisingly very sturdy. Both my cats love love it! I will be buying more!
