Wicked movie.
This movie is bad, 10 out of 10 took me right back to the days when we use to have late night kung Fu movie’s.

NOT IN ENGLISH AUDIO AS DESCRIBED AGAIN!
Yet another film I have bought on Amazon that says it’s audio is in English but it isn’t. Can’t read subtitles due to sight. Can’t get a refund or contact from Amazon . Just don’t buy films on Amazon . Probably better off to not buy anything . Go back to eBay, at least then you know before you buy it will be utterly disappoint and incorrect

An all-round superb martial arts epic.
True Legend contains all the elements you'd expect from a Chinese historical drama - including stunning cinematography and flat-out fabulous fight scenes - with an unusually nuanced plot. It's good enough to stand alongside Crouching Tiger, and is every bit as accessible and enjoyable. The story starts out as a fairly traditional historical war drama, then delves into a bitter family feud, and finally explains how the 'drunken fist' fighting style developed. Just when you believe that the storyline has lapsed into predictable genre cliche, it veers away in a different direction. This is a film which isn't afraid to convey a realistic depiction of loss and loneliness. The fight scenes may seem a little artificial if you don't enjoy high-speed wire-work - but much of the filming is simply breathtaking. After the opening set piece - which isn't typical of the overall film - the characters take on real depth and personality. The villain of the piece, with his sinister poison claw and black-gold body armour, is especially effective. Two hours of epic entertainment. Subtitles can be a little erratic at times, but not enough to spoil the fun.9/10

it's alright
It's alright. Some people have said it finishes with 40 minutes left to go, and to be honest, I thought that, but I'm glad I watched through to the end. In some ways it feels like there are three very decisive chapters to the film and I enjoyed it from that perspective. To be fair, the Director could have done a Peter Jackson and made this into three films, a la The Hobbit, and I think that would almost have made for a better overall film as he would have been able to explore aspects in more detail, but overall it's very watchable and if you've got nothing better to do, it's a worthwhile watch.

Amazing.
Even though the action is very exaggerated, but the story is based on real life.Great soundtrack.

Ideal for martial-arts fans, and reccomended to movie-lovers in general
Frankly, this is an excellent foreign film that's in the same league of The Matrix, Enter the Dragon and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Surprisingly powerful story about an exiled war hero who must recover from his fall from grace to save his family and kingdom from his powerful & vengeful step-brother. Fantastic choreography and with all the depth in the world, True Legend is so much more than just a mindless action-flick.Complete with fantastic cameos from the likes of Michelle Yeoh and David Carradine, terrific bonus features and high-quality presentation, True Legend works on so many levels. Really top-notch stuff.
