Revell Snaptite Build and Play Star Wars: The Last Jedi! Kylo Ren’s TIE Fighter

This does have some very crisp and fine details. It straddles the line between a toy and a detailed model. It is quite easy to assemble for kids since it is a low part count and snap fit and there are no small fiddly parts. It is pre-painted and looks decent enough out of the box for what it is. Also, if they like to fly it around the room, the more delicate parts like the gun tips on the wings are molded in a softer rubbery plastic so they do not snap. There is a hinge on the hatch that allows them to open the hatch. And of course the sound and light module it comes with is entertaining. For those looking more for a more serious display piece to go alongside Bandai or Fine Molds models in 1/72 you can still get a very nice finished piece. I've included a picture of it next to the Bandai 1/72 First Order Fighter and the Bandai 1/72 First Order Special Ops Tie Fighter for anyone wondering how it scales out comparatively. Note the model in the pictures has been fully painted and the toy-like hatch hinge has been removed. I think this shows that it can be made into a very good replica

Love the model, the light up engine is cute, the sounds are silly but unmistakably star wars. It looks good next to my fleet of other Bandai Star Wars models, assembles in like 15 minutes and is surprisingly sturdy. The wing tips are made of a kind of pliable plastic that won't shatter easily unlike my Bandai models.

Gift for my son is a huge Star Wars fan. He has been playing with it since Christmas and it and the battery are still going strong. I like they it starts him on model building and also gives him a solid toy to play with. The details are very good... you can paint it or just use as it depending on the desired effect

Easy model to build with smaller children, not too many parts but helps to have a parent snap most of the pieces after they line them up. Quick project they can play with as the material is nice

Great little model. Takes minimal time to assemble, nice detail, and seems durable so far. Three sound effects are a bonus and back lights up. Great value for the money.

One of the easiest snaptite model in the StarWars series. Nice looking, cool light & sound effect. Kylo Ren is all black, which is not far from the spec, except for the silver lines on the mask. You can easily add that with a silver marker/paint pen.I like the rubbery laser canon. A nice consideration to make this toy safer and durable. The only minor problem is that the hatch hinge is designed incorrectly, so it keeps falling off when opened. You can easily push it back in. No big deal. But a kind of silly mistake for an engineer/designer at this level find product.

The model itself is nice. I bough a damaged item from Amazon warehouse, as it turns out the package wasn’t the only thing that was damaged. Other than that it was a nice model. Would be nice if it came with some kind of stand.

I built this with our 6 year old. Easy to understand instructions. He put it together himself. Really enjoys it. We glued the wings on a bit later to not loose pieces as he was playing with it constantly.

Muy buen modelo a escala, tanto en tamaño como detalles, lo mejor es que no necesita pintura ni pegamento quedo muy bien y es sencillo de armar me gustaria que hubiera mas modelos disponibles, tiene buenos detalles y se ve de calidad, no tuve ningun problema en el armado y los detalles son muy buenos. La entrega en tiempo y bien empacado.

Es un modelo de pocas piezas, pre pintado y no requiere pegamento ni pintura, trae una caja de luces y sonidos. los detalles están muy bien elaborados. muy buena relacion precio calidad.

Es un modelo enfocado a los niños, por lo que es muy sencillo de armar, los detalles no son los mejores pero tampoco son terribles, los colores no son los correctos, yo lo compré en oferta y aun así creo que nmo debería de costar más de $400 pesos mexicanos o $20 USD
