Simple hook-up and affordable
I really liked the simple 1 wire (or 2 if using a tachometer) hook-up. I didn't have any issues with the install. I put the engine on TDC (top dead center) or number 1 cylinder, and removed the old dist. Put new O-ring on shaft. (Mine didn't come with one), Put some lube on gear and O-ring, dropped right in. I got the plug (two wire) for it and presto. Check your timing and you should be ready to go. Performance is great.

They need to specify it fits roller cam motors not flat tappet
Tbh I’m glad I didn’t use it cause that thing is massive like ridiculously huge

i specifically ordered an HEI distributor to fit my 1993 F150xlt EFI 5.8 engine only to find out now that the engine is rebuilt this distributor will not fit my truck because of the fuel rail return and Intake manifold both get in the way. it is garbage and I can not return it worst money i ever spenti believe that either false information or stupidity your choice

very good quality
install distributor on a ford F150 351 engine that had a bad points style distributor. Truck runs better that it ever did.

Awesome!
I initially did an RMA but sent the replacement back. It installed easily and I couldn't get it to fire off. I was in a hurry and didn't realize I had the motor 180 out. It was on the exhaust stroke not compression stroke. Corrected it and it runs awesome!No hastle at all with the RMA even though it wasn't needed. Great experience and fast delivery.

Bad coil
Great product and would buy again but the coil on the new distributor was bad so I did have to use my old one.

Very impressed.
This distributor is gonna make my life a lot easier. This single wire HEI and my Holley 2 barrel made it so I could eliminate about 20 unnecessary wires and other electricals on my 1984 Ford F150. Great way to keep things simple and very user friendly. Cant wait to fire the engine up soon.

Great setup for motor swapping, or upgrading, or if you have an ignition issue you cant track down.
I'm giving 5 stars because i had only one issue, but it was made up for. I ordered the red cap, but it came blue with the red cap in a seperate box, i was annoyed that i had to swap it all over, but that means i have a choice between the colours, and i have a spare cap and rotor. Anyways, i purchased this for my 68 mustang which i swapped a 351w into and it runs incredible. Amazing, reliable spark from these units, i also bought one for my 85 dodge 360 about 2 years ago that i couldn't fix because i couldn't find the ignition issue in the factory system and it worked incredible as well and i have put many many miles on it.

I put this on a 1976 f100 hit the key and away it went, no more useless wires and boxes to mess with. Highly recommend.
