I only just discovered this book and it is splendidly amazing knowing more about Olivia and Ivy's mother's side of the family. This book makes an amazing read for high schoolers and anyone else who loves romance, adventure and sisterly love all in one!

Fabulous series.
My nine year old cannot put these down. It has kept her very quite. I just hope Sienna Mercer does not stop writting them any time soon. Even my daughters friends have been borrowing them.

Do you feel lucky
Twin sisters Ivy and Olivia are surprise when their dad takes them back to Mr. Smoothies the most human (bunny as vampires call them) place in town. The last time they went their with their dad had the big plan to take the girls to meet their vampire relatives in Transylvania. This time its to meet their dead mother's twin sister Rebeca who takes an instant dislike to Ivy's boyfriend Brenden. The girls Aunt live outside town on a farm which animals includes Lucky, the horse their mother help birth. Just like their visit to their vampire side of the family, Ivy find herself feeling as out of place as a fifth wheel. As if Ivy doesn't have enough problems she let Lucky escape his stall and run away while Brenden takes the blame for it. The only thing that give her any comfort is finding her mom's diary and finding she has some things in common with her human side of the family after all. Olivia has problems of her own. She's got the part of Juliet in the school play and if she doesn't get her boyfriend Jackson to kiss her before opening night her first ever kiss will be with one of Ivy's vampire's friends. As usual book seven of the My Sister the Vampire series is pretty excellent with the joys of a vampire surviving in the real world with human relatives and no life threatening situations. The main problem I had with the book is the way it jumped between the girls weekends of their Aunt's farm and their weekdays getting ready for the school play. I'd of rather of had a long weekend that all the Aunt farm story done all at once and then moved on the play afterward.
