Happy that the landing gear worked exactly as described and glad that I purchased this for my boys.

This is one add on I am glad I got. Living in a very rural area, it is cool to fly my DJI mini over our 2 lakes. Now with this landing gear I can go all the way to the deck with it and land. Makes for some awesome footage and I don't have to worry about dropping too low and soaking my drone. I was a little concerned about water blowing up from the props and ground (water) effect but very little if any actually gets on my drone. And it is able to get plenty of lift off the water even after sitting and floating for a while.

Awkward fit, when I got it put together and started to insert the foam floaters it poked a hole in one of the floats. Now if that gets submerged it will soak up the water. Also, the drone struggled to fly as efficiently. I do not recommend this brand

The DJI Mini 3 Pro is an awesome drone, but it's small. Normally that's a good thing, but one downside of its small size is that its propellers don't clear tall grass. This makes a hand launch/landing or a launch/landing pad necessary if you don't have a solid surface to operate from. But another great solution is these landing gears. Both of them raise the drone up enough to clear normal-height grass. Here are some pros and cons of both.Landing gear legPros: Snaps right onto the drone. Very solid. Folds up for storage/transport.Cons: Does not work with gimbal covers. Does not work with a tight carrying case. If your drone fits very tightly in its slot in your case, it won't fit with this gear attached. For both of those reasons, I'll take it off of the drone until it's needed. It adds a bit of drag, which sucks down the battery more quickly. And of course, it does add weight to the drone, putting it above the 249g threshold. Be aware of the laws about that.Water landing gearPros: Snaps right onto the drone. Easy to assemble. Very solid. I was able to get them adjusted just right to float the drone level from front to back. The closed cell foam doesn't get waterlogged.Cons: Does not work with gimbal covers. Does not work with any carrying case other than a huge one. You might as well plan on carrying this gear outside of your case. For both of those reasons, I'll take it off of the drone until it's needed. It adds a bit of drag, which sucks down the battery more quickly. And of course, it does add weight to the drone, putting it above the 249g threshold. Be aware of the laws about that.So in summary, if you need landing gear for your Mini 3 Pro, these two work well. The water gear is a great addition if you're going to be flying over water. Just be aware that you need to think ahead about how you'll store and transport them, as odds are they won't work with your existing case. But other than that, I'm very satisfied with them.
