Fairly large, does the job it is designed for. Pleased that it's not rubber backed as that type holds water and becomes waterlogged. I use mine in a sheltered porch which still gets rained on, so far the mat has drained well. Combined with looking good it's worth the money and I have no reason not to give it 5*
