A Is for America: A Patriotic Alphabet Book

Just what I was looking for. A patriotic alphabet book for my grandchildren. We need to protect and prepare our children for the biased, left leaning education they are facing.

I bought this for my 3-year old and am very pleased. It doesn't go into detail about many of the topics - which it shouldn't as it's a simple ABC book but it has a nice "appendix" at the back that offers more information about people highlighted in the book. It touches key points in our nation's history by highlighting the major accomplishments of individuals such as Benjamin Franklin, Harriet Tubman and Julia Ward Howe.The colorful, child-friendly illustrations invite kids in and keep the "lessons" (as there's not really a strong story-line) engaging.This age-appropriate book is a great way to teach children about America's rich history. I'm glad we've added it to our library.

as well as the fact that she lives int he greatest country in the world. It's an incredible blessing and I want her to realize it! This book helps with both.

This book was great. The topic of the founding of our nation it's quite complicated for young children. This puts all the information in terms they can understand. The illustrations were very cute. It kept my 6 and 2 year olds attention. This is a book I will enjoy re-reading to them.

I only gave it 3 stars because it was marked as a book for prek and it is more appropriate for 2nd and 3rd graders.

Purchased for my daughter whonis a teacher for her class. Nice book.
