This is a good brand @ a great price . I bought to get more fiber in my diet & 2 feel full while dieting . I started to get headaches , achy joints , very tired , stomach felt a bit off . I found out that some people may be allergic to it , it has taken 4 days after stopping it to feel much better . My entire body was bloated from it . I drank plenty of water all day while on it , it did not give me gas but 4 days later i am still pooping it out . Will be very happy when it is all out of my stem . So beware if after taking it you feel a bit off .

Worked well for me

I have yet to find a fiber powder that has good taste. It is what it is. I have been able to add it to my Gold Peak green tea and it is much easier to take. Like all of these kinds of products, it tends to lump up. However, it works pretty well in my green tea and smooths out. I just need to make sure to shake it before I drink, if I have let the bottle sit for a while. I would buy it again, assuming it comes back for purchase. I see it is no longer available at the time of this review.

Just got this today but cannot use it. When I opened the package, I noticed that the fiber was clumpy looking and immediately expected that moisture caused the clumping. Most fiber products are very dry and powdery looking. The product would not mix with water no matter how hard I tried. I tried adding the product to a dry glass followed by water - that did not work. Next, I added water to a glass and sprinkled the powder on top and that did not work. No matter how I tried to mix this product with water all I got was cloudy water with what looked like TERDS floating on top. The floaters were sized from about 1/16 to 3/8 inch and no amount of stirring would break them up. Smashing the floaters against the side of the glass just lead to clumps stuck to the side of the glass and the spoon.Stay away!Update: Since this item is Not returnable, I did a little more investigation and now believe that the moisture that was trapped in this product was not due to a leakage package but to a fault in the manufacturing process. Likely, one of the final processes is drying the product in a Kiln-like device that stirs and dries at the same time. Doubtless that this process was not completed or not done at all with this particular lot. The Lot No. is 09P0122; EXP: 04/2024. The manufacturer should replace all purchases of this particular lot.

Sometimes the ground psyllium husk makes me choke if it’s not soaked long in water. The powder is no problem. Taste yucky but I add cut up apples and walnut pieces with cinnamon or mix a spoonful of peanut butter after it absorbs the water.

The popular and readily available brands for humans have orange flavor, which dogs don't like. This powder is flavorless, so once it is mixed with whatever else the dog eats, she just gobbles it up. An excellent product!

I like the price per volume. I like the little scooper that comes in the bag. What tips the scale into the "dislike" range is the taste and the consistency. Although the taste is bland and dusty, taste alone was not enough to make me not want to buy this product again. I feel a bland, dusty taste is expected for an unflavored Psyllium Husk Powder. That being said I can say the taste of this stuff is bad even for unflavored Psyllium Husk Powder. What's even worse is the consistency. This stuff just doesn't want to dissolve in water. It clumps; and when I try to stir it, it sticks to my utensil like glue. I'm sorry to say that when it's time for a refill, I will not buy this product again.

Unlike psyllium husk (flakes), only one teaspoon of this powder equals a tablespoon of husk, and using a shaker bottle, it dissolves completely in water without any grainy residue. Both have 5 grams of completely soluable fiber, which will not produce far less intestinal gas. This brand is cheaper per serving than any husk product and most powders offered online. Keep it in an airtight container to increase shelf life, and drink it immediately after it dissolves before it starts to gel up.
