I've only recently gotten into Beard Oil - Always been a facial hair puritan thanks to mine being naturally thick!I keep mine quite trim - no longer than 2 inches or so - this usually causes problems when I apply oils as they just make my face greasy.This Oil is fantastic! The pump feature works very well for my length of hair and seems to be the perfect amount I need - It's just enough to keep everything soft and make the darn thing behave itself when I groom or style it.This Oil is not the cheapest, but I have to tell you there's a good reason for that! They've nailed the fundamentals of the oil (Absorbance mainly) so you can make a bottle last a long time, especially with the strength of the scent!I bought Sovereign, and damn does it smell fantastic. Equivalently fragrant aftershaves aren't cheap, so this really lifts the oil in my mind - it's good for daily use but it also feels and smells like a premium product - I too have been receiving compliments during my nights out!Genuinely amazed by Sovereign and can't wait to try Scandal - I think my beard has gone from good to great after a couple weeks of applying this, and boy do I love walking into a room smelling like a Sovereign :)Excellent product! If quality is consistent and the other scents as pleasant as this then I won't be buying another brand for a very long time.

I have had a chance to try many of the top and popular beard oils on the market, including a couple of startup companies from the UK. This beard oil beats all of those hands down.The presentation of the oil is superb, I wont bore you with details as you can see it in the pictures but it would make a lovely present.An important factor with beard oil (only my opinion) is the viscosity or thickness of the oil. Too thin and it absorbs very quickly but doesn't hang around very long, too thick and it stays forever but doesn't really absorb into the skin and follicle. This oil seems to have it just right, it rubs in really well but is not so light that it disappears after a few minutes.Scent of course is really important and too many from the competition smell ok but the scent has disappeared before you have finished your commute to work. This scent, Sovereign, smells fantastic in a manly sort of way and it really lasts all day. It has a certain timeless maturity that gives it a sophistication that many lack. In fact the majority I have tried smell like a sports deodorant, this was different and attracted some nice compliments from the ladies.Delivery system...How many times do you see beard oils with some form of eye-dropper attached? I hate the things, the rubber squeezy thing ends up getting oily and then the bottle and then you end up dropping it. Full marks to Bullingberg and a few others that have a pump delivery button. It's quick, easy and no mess. I have a 'corporate' beard length and I find that one full pump is plenty and goes a long way.If you are getting decent mixes of oils and perfumes, you have to pay a little extra. So to those who think it's a little expensive, the cheaper ones would require several pumps or drops to achieve the same effect and would need replacing by lunch time, so all in all, Bullenburg is working out cheaper for me.For those who get dry skin, it is recommended that you use a moisturiser on your beard and the skin underneath at night. Many guys who shave every day use moisturisers and just because your skin is covered with hair, it still needs something to help put moisture back in. A beard oil will help but for some skins it wont be enough.All in all I am really happy with this purchase and will be trying the other fragrances over time.Just to add, I used my hard earned cash to buy this and have nothing to do with the company.

As this is my first beard oil I cannot compare it to other similar products so I can only talk about my experience with this product. It seems to do the job. Beard is nice and smooth and does indeed help with frizz. Both the Scandal and the Sovereign I've tried smell great. So overall it's a great product. So why the 4 stars? For 2 reasons:1) The packaging is great and feels expensive. However it takes a lot of space (for a small bottle of beard oil) and it takes a LOT of effort to remove the oil from within the package.2) As I mentioned above I have both the Scandal and the Sovereign oils. But because I have not kept the packaging I only have the oil bottles which do not mention which is which. So I have to guess (or trial and error) when I want to use one or the either. I think it would be good to print on the bottle itself which variation of the oil it is so you can distiguise.Apart from these two points (which are easily fixable I believe) this is an awsome product and highly recommended.

It is a great poduct, good coverage, good feel, decent scent, and when used with a beard brush it leaves a straight smooth beard that looks great. Its not cheap, and theres plenty of beard oils out there that likely produce similar results but this one so far has consistently been the best in my opinion.

Smells amazing, and persists longer than other oils I've used. It's on the bougie side, so definitely more of a treat.Cons: Bumblebees + honeybees don't like you when this is on. So, bee mindful of that.

This is the 3rd bottle of Bullingberg we've purchased (2nd of the Sovereign scent) It's reduced in price since we first found it so that's a bonus! The packaging alone must cost half the purchase price, it's ridiculously good quality.I purchased this for hubby as a replacement for the one he finished because I love the scent so much. Hubby's beard is a good 12" long and I'm responsible for blow drying it to get it looking its best. I like this oil because it's nice and light and not overly greasy, it's easily absorbed and leaves the beard hair feeling soft and manageable. The smell of the green bottle is divine. Not sure how you can define masculine but it's exactly that. I can't stop sniffing him when he's wearing it. Would absolutely recommend giving it a try. A point another reviewer made is there's nothing on the actual bottle to define which is which scent if you have more than one. Something for consideration by the developers maybe?

Ich habe dieses Bartöl als Geschenk gekauft - hier ist natürlich die Verpackung ein ausschlaggebendes Kriterium gewesen, sie sieht sehr fein aus und eignet sich bestens zum Verschenken.Ob man den "richtigen" Duft erwischt ist bei einer Internetbestellung natürlich zum Teil auch Glückssache und ist natürlich auch immer Geschmackssache: ich empfinde den Duft als eher herb-würzig, intensiv, aber unaufdringlich. Ein Duft, den man im täglichen Geschäftsalltag gut tragen kann und sowohl zu Anzug als auch zu legerer Kleidung passt.Mein Mann war mit Duft und Qualität sehr zufrieden, es macht den Bart weich und glänzend und glättet krisselige Haare. Kann dieses Bartöl auch als betroffene Ehefrau sehr empfehlen!
