Too small in the waist and too long. I usually buy shorts that are knee length (or just above), however, these are calf length and look ridiculous! I'm also a 36" waist but the supposedly 36" ones I purchased wouldn't even fasten - sorry but I can't recommend these.

What a let down .... Perfect fit .... 1 wash (30degrees) at work bent down to pick something up and they split from the crotch to the top of the ass.... (Just below the waistband) not happy and won't buy anything from you again

Very impressed with these. Bought another! I didn’t realise that, in addition to the pockets, there is a large discrete zip on each pocket!! Used these for keeping wads of notes whilst travelling I.e. dollars in the left and local currency securely in the right. Good balance of weight in fabric- not too hot. And perfect length - just over knees. So not too hot for SE Asia and allows you into temples (cover knees!)

Gorgeous shorts. Well made, soft cotton and nice detailing. My son finds them really comfortable and they look great on. Love the colour too... it seems to go with any t-shirt.

This is the second pair of these shorts I've bought. I bought a pair last summer, my favorite shorts of all time, I love them. Heavy duty cotton, lots of deep pockets, two with zips for extra security. They are quite long, just below the knee but that's my preference, I'm a 32 waist and they fit just fine.

I like the design of these shorts, but they are poorly finished. Both inner pockets were not fully stitched (goodbye car keys!) and lots of loose threads needed trimming off the zips. Not worth the hassle of returning them as they can be fixed, but it has put me off buying another pair.

beware after wash , worn once then ripped first time i knelt down , embarrassed to say the least , ok for shop dummy , then again possibly not

Look good and the pattern/design is spot on.The waist is far too big tho, I bought 36" purely for comfort based on previous purchases of shorts but these are way too big.
