My First Electric skateboard
I recently moved into college and bought this skateboard as a way for transportation around campus. This is a great way for me to get around my campus. My prior experience to riding skateboards/longboards is nothing. So this Longboard is my first time riding and I am having a blast! I would definitely start slow and then also tighten the trendles up when it first arrives. Then loosen when ready. They say that on a full charge it can get 11miles. But when riding it doesn't seem as long. But I haven't done a sure tested way to check this. Also have to be aware of any large crates or bumps in the road/sidewalk. Any bigger hills you have to bump up in speed to get up the hills or the board will stall. Overall this is a great board and I would recommend it to anyone who has the extra cash to spend.

So far so good
My meebo v5 is great so far. Super fast very reliable but you must tighten everything. The bolts on the batteries were loose. The trucks were super loose. The only things that were tight were the front and back wheels. But that’s not a super bad thing. All you really need to do is hop on the board out of the box and figure out how tight you want it. Plus the front and back bolts are magnetized so if you buy lights, you don’t need to replace the bolts. The speed on this is crazy. It’s about twice as fast if not five times as fast than my original mini board plus it’s range is super good, less than advertised but enough for my area. The lights I bought for it are perfect. I didn’t need to replace or takeoff anything they just snap right on and are perfect for nights.I have only had it for about a week but it’s purfect. Now if you are looking to buy this just note that unless you use speed 2, (9to12mph) depending on your weight, the entire time you will not get the full range but if. You use speed 3 the entire time you get about 75 to 85% of the advertised distance which is better then you think. Also you don’t get the remote with the speed display you have to buy it, and if your under 150lbs this thing will take off under your feet if you do not brace yourself, and any speed over 15mph WILL make you speed wobble if you do not properly tighten your trucks and place your feet properly. I found that keeping the back trucks tighter than the front trucks helps with speed wobble and helps with tighter turns.

So far so good despite not getting advertised range
This is my first electric longboard. I've had it for two weeks now and love it despite the battery mileage not being as good as advertised. I'm in my late 40's and have been skateboarding off and on since I was a kid; learning this was pretty easy, but definitely gave me a few startles with how fast it can accelerate. Pro tips: learn to lean forward just before you accelerate, and start to lean back before you brake. I ride the beach bike path in Santa Monica and have been recording my rides with my GPS to see I am only getting about 25-30 total minutes ride time on a full charge and mileage of about 6-8 miles per ride even when I loop my apartment's block draining the battery all the way to 0 charge where the board crawls to a slow halt. I've been riding on medium to full throttle on level 3 on the controller with average speed of 15 mph, so maybe the advertised 11 mile range requires a much slower speed. Definitely tempted to upgrade to the V5 ER battery since it would be fun to be able to cruise for 45-60 minutes with its double Watt-hour capacity compared to the regular V5 battery. The bushings and trucks are pretty loose and i've felt a little bit of speed wobble when hitting 15-20 mph on straightaways but it hasn't been bad enough for me to want to tighten up the trucks and lose the easy carving ability of looser trucks. Hope my the battery and electronics last longer than some of the negative reviews report below and will plan to update my review here in a few months either way.

Great board overall. False advertised range.
The board feels great to ride on, almost everything is as advertised. However, the range is more like 10 kilometres and not 10 miles so keep that in mind.

Battery problems + no traction
The positives:- The skateboard goes faster than any I’ve ever used and it feels amazing.- The wheels are big enough that they maintain the skateboard balanced when riding over small cracks on the pavement (in dry conditions).- Communication from costumer service. The negatives:- Battery life. As many have mentioned, this skateboard does not last the 11mi suggested. I used it to commute to school (a 2.0mi distance, or 4.0mi round trip). By the time I was home, the battery was almost 100% drained. I just had to ride it for another minute or two before it died. I weight 180lbs. and there is a short uphill section (like 30-40 feet) to school, and another short uphill section going back home (like 60 feet). The incline is not that much. Probably about 30 degrees. I rode it in gear 3 for acceleration and gear 1 for braking. Because it was only lasting me about 4.1mi, I decided to contact their costumer service team and they told me the 11mi range was based on perfect riding conditions (i.e. no wind, flat surface, 150lb rider, gear 2 for acceleration and gear 1 for braking, amongst other things). They told me the 4mi range using the 3rd gear was to be expected. I tried the gear 2 speed on a flat surface to see if it really made that huge kf a difference and it only lasted around 5.8mi, not 11mi.- Wheels have little traction when wet. While I’ve encountered no problems with traction when the road is dry, yesterday I rode it for the first time on a wet street. I had to put it on gear 2 because of how unstable it felt riding it faster. Even going really slow, I went over a section of the road that the pavement was different and bumpy, and I lost control of it and fell to the ground. I don’t care much for falling as I’ve had my fair share of falls skateboarding since I was a child. However, I go through that road in a daily basis and I’ve used 3 different eskateboards and have never had issues with control, even with a wet surface.Overall: I really enjoy the skateboard in perfect riding conditions. I love how fast it can go and how sturdy it feels. I’ve seen people comment about feeling that “death wobble” and I have not experienced that after using it daily for a month. However, I live in Oregon where it always rains during the fall/winter terms. Seeing how dangerous it feels to ride it on a wet surface, I don’t think I’ll be giving it much use. Finally, the battery is a big issue. While my main reason for purchasing it was to get to school and back, and it can do that, I fear that after using it a couple of months, the battery will die faster and faster and I wont be able to get to and from school. I also wanted it to visit friends in a 5-8 mile radius, and that is just not possible with this one. In my opinion, it is not worth purchasing.
