what a Blessing to read
I love anything Corrie ten Boom. Such love, Encouragment, hope and amazing life in this woman and her family. A great read and message of Truth that never fails through time.As Corrie lived out in her life and experience during the war and after…”There is no pit that God’s love is mot greater still” The horrors of Nazi Germany should never happen again ever. So glad she told her story of forgiveness and the hope we have in Jesus. Loved this book.

Excellent for adult or child
I bought this as a gift for my 10-year-old granddaughter who reads voraciously. I read it myself before giving it to her, as I was a little concerned about whether she is old enough to handle the difficult topic, even though we had visited the Holocaust museum in St. Louis together recently. Years ago I was moved by The Hiding Place, both the book and the movie, but I still feel as though I learned more about Corrie ten Boom in this version for a younger reader. My daughter just let me know that my granddaughter had finished reading Corrie ten Boom: Keeper of the Angel's Den, and she loved it. What better commendation could there be? I intend to look at additional volumes from the Christian Heroes: Then and Now series.

An ordinary woman's extraordinary testimony
"There is no pit so deep that God's love is not deeper." This is the message that Corrie ten Boom brought to the world after she went through the horrors of Nazi prison and death camp. This book will inspire you and teach young and old that God can do extraordinary and marvelous things even in bleak and terrifying surroundings.Corrie Ten Boom was an ordinary watchmaker's daughter when her family was arrested for helping Jewish people escape the Nazi's. They were taken to prison and suffered greatly under the hands of their captors. Yet Corrie and her sister always looked towards God and where thankful for all of the blessings he gave them, such as a patch of blue sky, a hidden Bible, the women they read the Bible too. This book tells the story of Corrie and how she survived the war and went on to help others by telling them about God's love and forgiveness. Corrie learned a lot from her prison experience, but most of all, Corrie learned that by leaning on God, she can share God's love and forgiveness to all, even to her enemies and those who hurt her.

Great for Children!
The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom is one of my all-time favorite books. I was excited when I found this book as a way to introduce my children to her. I thought the authors did a great job in helping young children understand what an amazing woman she is!Corrie and her family lived in Holland. They helped the Jews escape the Nazis and were eventually caught. She and her sister were sent to live in a concentration camp. It was a difficult time and there were tears in our eyes as we read certain parts. One of the things that surprised me the most when I first read her story was her age--she was actually in her 50's when she was caught. Her story is filled with miracles, faith and forgiveness, and is one that will inspire people of all ages!

One of the best but very graphic and ...
For my part I loved tthis book. However the midle of the book is very graphic and scary for litle kids. I do not mean not to buy this book - oh no,I just mean it is violent and the author could have left out some details (for example the nazis shoot all the men and there is.mention of a beatingAlso it gets boring towards the end of the book.In general it was an exellent book narrating the life of one of my favorite heroesThis book is an inspiracional book and is very exiting - but sad. I love it

Very easy read. Gives an in-depth view as to what happened in the Nazi concentration camps. A very encouraging book for a Christian. I don't this is a book for younger children as it is quite gruesome, although it is true.

Wonderful woman
This book is so inspirational. Corrie was such a mighty woman for God. Her faith in God never wavered. The way she was able to not only forgive her persecutors but she also went round the world teaching people to forgive their enemy's. This book is great for people who want to know the truth of what happened to the Dutch people during the 2nd world war

A wonderful testimony of patient trust in God in a situation of utter despair in a Nazi prison and concentration camp.
