Not self sealing
These are great, they hold a lot of water and pop on contact. However, they don’t close up by themselves. You have to physically close them which takes time and isn’t fun!

Wouldn't recommend
This is tough because they do work, but they are the most fiddly annoying things to put together. If you want reusable water bombs for the kids - DONT get these. They will just cause frustration. You have to be so gentle whilst trying to press soft silicone hollow balls together - underwater - with enough pressure to close them but not too much that they collapse and push all the water out. There a much better designs out there.
