Humble Bee 410 Polycotton Beekeeping Suit with Round Veil

I am just starting out with our hives, so I haven't had a lot of time in the suit yet. It fit well and seems to be made of sturdy, well constructed material. The face/head guard is attached with a zipper and there doesn't seem to be small openings where curious bees can get in to. Only time will tell, but very happy with the first impression!

We bought two of these suits. So far, we have worn them a minimum of ten times. They are durable and we can move around in them comfortably. So far, we have not been stung while wearing them correctly. They are easy to take off, as well.

Single layer canvas only and there is no padding in the shoulders where the fabric sits tight against your skin. I am 6ft and 150 and read I needed an XXL. This suit is WAY too big but I've already used it so no returning it. I would go up a max of 2 sizes. I usually wear medium shirts/pants so I think a large or XL would have been better.If I had to do it again I'd get a vented suit that has the foam padding to get the surface away from your body.

Great suit. Very well made and good quality but I would order a size larger especially if you’re tall. I’m 6’3 290 and the 2XL was very uncomfortable when standing fully upright or attempting to bend over. Ordered a larger one and I’m sure that will be much better

Heavy, front zipper latch a little odd. Bee could get in if you don’t pay attention. Flawless I have not go stung yet!

I've gotten 3 more humble bee items and regret nothing! the suits and jackets work great! 10/10

I took beekeeping this past semester and I didn’t get stung once! Awesome apart from on hot days you’ll sweat, but to me that is good enough knowing I’m well protected.

Based on the reviews and price of this product I thought this was going to be the best bee suit out there. I was sadly mistaken. I am a new beekeeper with 5 hives. I have been stung 6 times through the material. Right I couldn't believe it either. But 1 is too many. When bending over the veil touches the back of the head I was stung there also. You will have to wear another hat to keep the veil off your face. I am in the market for another suit.

I bought this as a protection against mosquitoes in the spring. Works very well. Black flies can get through the head mesh, but a spritz of repellent on the net prevents their entry. I have a complaint about the ability to order a specific size on Amazon, as their suits are not selectable according to size as other sellers' items usually are. I found and bought one size larger than what I suspected I needed, and was happy with the more roomy result. As suspected, the suit is understandably warm in warm weather. It is not as cool as they suggest.

I wasn't sure if I should get a small or extra small. I'm 5'2" petite build and didn't want it too long in the legs and arms or fluffy in the body. I'm about the size of a twelve-year-old basically. It fit nicely. The material is nice and good quality. The gold zipper is very nice quality with rings to easily pull. The elastic around the wrist and ankles are just right. There are pockets all over. Even on the sides of the legs and sides of the arms to put any tools you need. I'm quite pleased. Also, the delivery came quickly as promised.

Hält Stiche gut ab, das Netz am Kopf ist klein und die Bienen schwirren nahe beim Gesicht herum. Beim Verladen der Bienen ging die Fluglucke auf und die Bienen waren aggressiv, da kamen auch Bienen in den Hut. Man muss wirklich genau beim Zumachen sein.
