Messy but tasty
A bit overpriced. Very delicate and breaks apart easily. And delicious.

Pleasing & Fragrant
I thought this tea was very pleasing and fragrant. Disks are fragile and there was some breakage. Still, it makes a very tasty cup of tea.

Delicious Tisane Blend
I'm the kind of person who loves tea and drinks it hot several times a day year-round. I have a collection of tea from around the world. While I'm by no means a tea tasting expert, I know what I like, and this iLOLA lemon tulsi tisane (herbal infusion) tastes fabulous. It is smooth, light and lemony with a slight hint of ginger. The blend itself is nice. All the flavors complement each other beautifully. It is especially delicious with a bit of honey. While I like the tisane, I'm not a huge fan of the packaging nor of the discs. The outside box is a beautiful satin texture with copper print, which is sleek and modern. However, the inner bag is difficult to open, and most of the discs arrived broken. As soon as I lift one from the box, it crumbles into multiple pieces. This isn't a huge deal breaker for me because I'm used to drinking loose leaf teas, but they are messy without anything to contain them. The bag isn't resealable, and the broken bits fall out of the paper box all over my counter. Overall, the tea is great, but the packaging needs improvement.

Mostly cherry, not resealable
This loose leaf tea by iLola definitely stands out - I had to give these little discs a try, and was pleased with the results overall. All of the discs came in one piece, which I've read is an issue with some others, so thought I'd mention; the packages themselves are resealable, which is my only real comaint overall, though depending on how many tea drinkers you have around it may not be a big deal for you.The discs come apart quickly once hit with water, which is recommended to be near boiling for steeping. Some of the leaves and herbal components float, so an infuser might be needed to get the most flavor without constant stirring. As far as that flavor, the cherry is spot on - for a cherry soda, which is to say, mostly artificial black cherry flavoring. It's not bad, and reminds me of a fine aromatic tobacco. The kola nut is harder to detect, but is definitely there, and the combination is pleasant once you're a couple sips in.The price is on the higher side, but not exceedingly so considering the more premium ingredients - and probiotics - and the overall experience. Definitely worth trying out - just keep a resealable bag handy to maintain freshness!

Fragrant Tisane
Rooibos is technically not tea. It's a tisane harvested from a "red bush" plant native to Africa. The flavor is very mild with hints of floral, citrus and honey. This particular rooibos has a very mild pleasant flavor. There's no bitterness or after-taste that comes with some artificially flavored herbal teas. This is all natural and tastes lovely. In terms of the pressed individual servings, I'd say it's more of a novelty than anything else. When I opened the sleeve, quite a few of them had already begun to crumble apart, so I've just been treating this the same way I do traditional loose tea. I have draw string paper tea bags which I've been using for steeping (although a metal tea ball would work just as well).Quick tip - if you enjoy a good homemade chai but don't want caffeine, rooibos makes a nice substitute for black tea and complements the spices nicely.

Tastes Yummy
A little more expensive than your normal "loose tea", you're almost basically paying the price you would in a tea shop to have someone make the tea for you. But the convenience is nice to have a premium tea and you don't need to get the scooper out and make sure you have a good mix (so many teas that have a mix of heavier and lighter ingredients that settle and your top cup tastes different than your last!). It's a good drop in your brewer in the morning and have it ready by the time you need to go but for the price, it's hard to justify it as an everyday drink.

Lovely subtle flavor
The tea disc is such a unique idea! I’ve never seen anything like this before. It definitely takes the mess and guess work out of measuring out loose tea. This makes everything a lot easier and more convenient! The disc breaks up over the 6 or 7 minutes of steeping so you know that the flavor of the entire disc is being used. It provides a nice, subtle flavor, a little bit of sweet (sugar or honey) goes a long way in this tea. I absolutely love the flavor and the technique for brewing. However it is a bit expensive - a little over a dollar per disc. While I’m used to the expense of loose tea, this goes a little higher than I would be willing to pay in the future. However, it is an easy and convenient way to make your tea.

Tastes and smells really good but kinda messy
These are supposed to be tea disks and but at least the first 3 I've tried were broken into a mix of large and lots of little pieces. This made it a little messy when it came to steeping, although it's not too big of a deal for me. I thought it smelled really good and smelled just like the after 8 mint chocolate candy. The taste is delightful, sweet, light chocolate flavor, and a nice mint flavor that left a little bit of a tingle on my tongue. Definitely depends on your personal taste and smell, some of my family members didn't like the smell of it but everyone agreed it tasted good.
