Works just fine on my old dvd player to connect to the new tv

Excellent product!
Bought a few of them, as it's better to have an extra than to wish you did wgen you need one. Have put two to work already, linking CD and DVD players into my system. They do the job, they're compact and they work!!

Good if there are no other options.
I purchased this for an old gaming system, and it works well. If you have another option (like a PS2 to HDMI adapter), I'd use that instead as this adapter takes the composite video signal and converts it for HDMI. Other adapters can use the COMPONENT output (depends on the system) from your console and converts it for a much better signal.

turns the picture to all but black
using it with a firetv the picture quality is beyond bad and on an older tv only slightly less bad. time to goodwill the dvd collection because technology has moved on
