The video goes into much more detail, including comparison with my existing filter from an O11D.However, in a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Loads for your money - 4 x large 400mm x 300mm grilles and 16 x 400mm magnetic strips.+ Easy to shape and cut to your exact specifications, although I'd recommend using a metal rules and knife over just going with scissors (which will work, by the way).Things I didn't like:- 1.2mm holes are probably the largest I would want - even with these holes, a little of the smaller dust is getting through. They're about twice the size of my existing filter.Do I recommend it?Yes, absolutely. Great quality, very decent value at £15.

This came to my attention at the perfect time, as I had recently built and upgraded my wedding editing pc but used the old case, which wasn’t the best for air filtration, so I had blocked many of the holes except for the fan intakes.Now I’ve removed the foil tape and fitted in its place these filter sheets.These are larger than A4 and there’s four of them. The filter holes are around 1mm diameter and will block general fluff and debris but not smaller particles at micron levels, which may be ideal but these will do a decent job for taking care some of the dust. I do tend to clean out my PC to help efficiency and heat and with these filters should decrease the times I need to do that.These come with strips of slim flexible magnets, self-adhesive backed, you then cut your filter to size attach these magnets strips and this allows you to cover your filter intakes on the metal chassis easily. This then also allows easy removal for cleaning either vacuumed or washed.The filter sheets are plastic, wont rust and easy to cut. There’s so much filter you can possibly use them on many PCs or other applications. I had the idea of added a second layer at a different position, fixing with super glue, so that it creates tighter gaps and more filtration.I’ve got nothing bad to say, they just do the job and kit comes complete with more than enough.

This dust screen arrived in a simple black plastic package. Inside, the sheets of material were sandwiched between two sheets of thick cardboard to protect them in transit.I have an HP EliteDesk 800 SFF PC that I use to run my CCTV system. It relies on air being taken in from its front and rear vents and the CPU runs hot.I have cut a hole in the case lid directly above the CPU fan and covered it with this screen. Fortunately, the lid is sheet steel so the magnetic strip attaches securely. This has reduced peak CPU temperatures from well above 70° to around 60° (monitored with CPUID HWMonitor).You simply cut the sheet to size and then cut lengths of the self adhesive magnetic strip to go along the edges. It’s very simple to use.The screen traps dust well and its magnetic attachment makes it easy to remove it to clean by wiping or with a vacuum cleaner.You get plenty of this stuff and I’m going to use it to replace the intake filters on my other PC because it’s so easy to remove for cleaning. Much easier than the current thin foam filter and I suspect air flow will be improved.For £14.99 you get plenty of material so it’s good value. The fact that it can be cut to any size or shape means it can be used anywhere you want a dust filter so it’s also versatile and I’m happy to recommend it and give it 5 stars

So this comes sandwiched between card, to keep it safe from bending.You get four sheets, and they are easily cut down to size using a good pair of scissors, no need use metal cutters.(although don’t use your best set of scissors, think I blunted mine)It also comes with self adhesive magnetic strips. You simply stick them to the mesh then stick the new cover to whatever you want to dust proof!It’s fantastic that it can be cut down to fit to any opening or to put a finer mesh over the existing air holes on the side of the pc. It saves having to take apart the pc and clean it out as often.

The pack includes sheets of fine mesh filter and 16 magnetic strips of 40cm length. The mesh isn't magnetic but the strips are used to stick to the edges of the mesh which then adheres to the PC's steel case around the openings. The mesh is easily cut with a sharp craft knife, as are the strips. I recommend watching the video on the web page to take in the simple instructions as none came with the package.The product is very effective at keeping dust out, therefore reducing the heat burden inside the case which the fans have to use extra power to overcome. The modification shouldn't affect any warranty I think. The only thing to keep an eye on after fitting is dust build-up on the outside of the case. This will need regular attention to make sure that ventilation isn't blocked. But this will be far less effort and risk than opening the case and vacuuming off the dust from delicate components.For the modest price of £14.99 this is a very good way of protecting the investment in a large and expensive PC.

Got these as a replacement for the dust filters in my old pc fans. I have 3 cats so these are a must have to prevent fur from getting in my fans.These do overall increase temperature inside the case, but it all depends on what you prioritize, no fur in your fans or thermals.They are easy to cut to size, didn’t use the metallic strips as I made bigger holes in the mesh and screwed these in with my fan screws so can’t speak much for those.Would recommend.

I never thought I’d say that my new favorite PC mod would be dust filters. I raved about these all day - no joke. If care is used to cut in a straight line, these filters look like professionally-made custom pieces. The appearance is worthy of being fitted even to the outside of the PC case, being made of a stiff-yet-thin matte-black PVC material. The optional magnetic strips that are included are easily cut to fit any shape filter, and the adhesive is good and strong. The adhesive side of the magnetic strip is designed to be applied to the filter itself, so that the magnetic side may attach to a metallic surface. One way I installed these filters is fitting them between the case and the intake fans, leaving off the magnets and punching holes to accommodate the fan screws. The clean and professional look is very pleasing to the eye. The air flow is not severely restricted, but my filters are already performing great - catching dust and small particles of junk that would otherwise be circulated through my PC case. For perspective, one sheet is about as tall as a normal PC case, and twice as wide. And you get FOUR whole sheets, and SIXTEEN magnetic strips. It’s more than enough material for one PC, and if one gets creative, filters can be made for box fans or A/C vent registers in the floor or wall to keep dust from flying around one’s home. An aerator can be made for sink faucets or shower heads. A barrier can be made for a hamster or reptile cage. I imagine it can also be used for pattern sewing and needlework. The creative uses for this product beyond the intended ways are numerous. I can certainly attest to the awesome value and potential of this bundle, and I can’t recommend it enough. There’s a good chance some custom-made and visually-pleasing dust filters will be your new favorite PC modification too!
