These shoes are described as extra wide with a good non slip sole and being waterproof. They really are extra wide - I struggle to buy shoes at size 13 and wide enough and these really fit the bill. The sole is not especially "non slip" - don’t expect to have extra grip across wet or mossy stones but they are fine for narrow, rough forest tracks. Sadly, my pair are definitely not waterproof but wearing them with waterproof socks manages that. Overall, especially at their price point, they are very well sized and comfortable for forest and hill paths and they’re showing as very durable with no signs of scuffing or early wear. I’ll buy them again and recommend them for big, active, feet…..

I have a pair of Fitville tennis shoes so was certain these trainers would fit and they do. The actual trainers are a bit different from the picture shown (no white stripes or white brand name on the front side). They're comfortable, feel as if they will last but am aware I'm wearing them as they are not unsubstantial at size 12.

I chose these over a similar “New Balance” wide walking shoe as I believed the hype around this brand and sturdy looking build but on arrival I was disapointed with the quality of the uppers and the actual narrowness of what was described as “wide fitting” the fit but only just and the inner support appears inadequate for a larger man. Sorry will go back to new balance next time.

Due to a recent foot operation. I have had to find a pair of wide fitting trainers. I found a pair of Fitvile trainers. They are comfortable and fitted my operated foot. I am very Happy with my Fitvile trainers.

Love this brand of shoes, this is the first time i've had this particular shoe from them and honestly my feet have been really comfortable in them ever since i got them. I've got plantars fascitis in my left foot and i've got accelerated arthritis behind my right big toe so walking and standing and generally doing anything is pretty damn taxing to say the least. But with the arch support and the designed heel support in the sole and the rest of the shoe my feet can actually get through a day of work and walking around without too much pain and i also get to come home after a full day without the need to want too rip off my own feet in agony lol. HIGHLY recommend these for anyone with similar issues i can't say they will work for everyone but give them a go i think they are awesome and they work for me i will be buying again in the future.

Lightweight and comfortable

I like the shoes and the company selling them was very obliging.However, I have worn them today in quite heavy rain and my feet got soaked, so that is very disappointing. There are obviously not waterproof. I particularly wanted waterproof shoes to wear on a day like today.
