This dress is super cute and exactly as pictured. True to size. Great for pioneer day at school!

The dress is great came on time, and unlike anything you’ll find in store. The only issue is I opened the dress to find that there are stains all over. She has her play in 2 hours so I’m stuck figuring it out. If you don’t mind washing your costume due it being used and have that time, then this will be okay. Material is thin so you will need to wear an undergarment. She will be under bright lights so this is another issue for us.

My daughter needed this pioneer dress for her book report. She ended up twirling and loving it. The wrists have elastic and the sleeves are long; hot for summer. School got out and she put it into her closet. She’d wear it to church. She is my child that doesn’t like how everything fits. No lace. No tags. No rough surfaces. Fickle. It was a great price for a dress she could love.

This review is authored by my 10 yr old daughter.The dress is a nice and comfy fit. The beautiful bonnet that comes with it makes up with the fact the dress itself is a little long. The bonnet has a bow tied in the back and needs adjusted to fit but it’s perfect for my Pioneer Day coming up. If you’re looking for a dress to look like a pioneer, this is the dress for you. I hope you’ve found the perfect dress for you.

This is a very cute costume for the price. My daughter needed it for Frontier week at her school and it worked perfectly. The material is soft. lightweight and not scratchy at all. We bought a small for my daughter who normally wears a size 8. It's a little long, but I hemmed it and it worked fine.

We had a short time to find my 10 year old a little house on the prairie dress for an upcoming school concert. She is tall and skinny, the dress fit perfect in large. Fast delivery and nice quality.

Sorry for the long review but hoping it helps someone else who may be in a time crunch as I was!!This costume was absolutely PERFECT for an event at my daughters school. I had planned on my sister & I making her costume as we always do but hadn’t had extra time so the day before the event, I was in panic mode, I hadn’t made her costume & working 12 hours a day, had no time to go shopping! Of course I get on Amazon at 8am just praying I’ll find something that could be delivered by the next day, came across this adorable PERFECT costume that had SAME DAY DELIVERY!!!!!! My daughter is a small almost 10yr old who wears a sz 8 clothing (some 10’s in hoodies & such but 7/8 jeggings) so I thought she would need a sz medium as I normally would order.. well unfortunately all they had in stock for same day was XS & Small.. I thought I had failed her & she wasn’t going to have a costume because I just knew the small would be too little. Thanks to all of your awesome reviews, I read one stating a smaller 9 yr old fit the small perfectly so I ordered. It arrived that evening around 7pm & it fit like it was made for my daughter! She has sensitive skin & most costumes are made of cheap quality fabrics, but not this one! It’s super soft, the perfect weight, no wrinkles, my daughter LOVED it! So, thank you thank you thank you Amazon for delivering the perfect product in the quickest time frame ever! I have been a prime member for years & would never cancel my membership! I am ALWAYS pleased with your service! I would rate 10 STARS if I could!!!!

I personally was looking for a higher quality costume dress for my daughter. The pictures do not clearly depict the fabric of dress. The material used in this costume is what you’d expect in a Halloween costume. Which is fine, if you are looking for an inexpensive fun costume that still looks good. The floral part of the dress has a slight shine to it and I think that is what makes it look more cheaply made. It is just not what I was looking for at this time. However, my daughter did love it and we may use it for Halloween. The dress is true to size.
