Thanks for your Help!!
I decided on the OasisSpace Chair mostly because by its measurements it seemed like the only one that would fit my 1950's bathtub. It is rather small but for the average person it should be okay---just don't wiggle around or lean too far back. It's strickly a "wash & get out" chair. The cutout construction is a great idea for all around accessability. We haven't used it yet but it does seem like it will do the trick. My husband is 5'10" and 195lbs. and he had no difficulty sitting in the chair on its highest leg setting. I am 5' 1" and 160lbs. It was sufficiently comfortable for me --- but will have to be put down a peg or two. And no wiggling around! BUT---now for the big issue. The instruction pamphlet writing is so small & the directions are useless. You have to basically figure it out for yourelf. At least it gave you a parts list with pictures. If it wasn't for the great picture setup reviews by customers, we would not have had such an easy time. SO----I want to say a special Thank You for taking the time to send photos with your reivews....... Melvan-Apr 18, 2023 so helpful Stingingfork-Apr 17,2023-good pics Big Dave-Apr. 16, 2023-more pics My pics are of the finished product in our 1950's tub. Enough room all the way around and room to close the shower curtain while using a handheld shower unit. OOPS: have to turn seat around-(not the seat----just have to change backrest to other side.)😉June 18, 2023 Update: I have to revise this review. Sitting on it before using it was acceptable enough--but after using it, I have to say--be careful. It would be usable maybe for a small, lightweight person--but an average to heavy weight person with stability issues would not feel secure sitting in the chair. Small, narrow seat and minimal leg width make it a little unstable for a larger person to move around while using it. Felt wobbly and flimsy. Looking for a chair with a larger seating area & a wider leg stance.

Great design, lightweight, EZ assembly, small tools included
Haven't had long, but seems like it will be durable. Easy assembly, appreciated that a little wrench and screwdriver were included, and the screws had washers included. Seems like quality overall. Arms are a good height and position to not be in the way. Very comfortable. Fits well in tub. (You'd think, right?) Back and arms can be removed if no longer needed, IIRC. Very sturdy with the crossbar design, not tippy at all.

Absolute Horrible!
This chair is poorly constructed! Low grade plastic, weak thin aluminum, put together with nuts and bolts! Buyer Beware !!!!!!!!Once I finally got the chair portion assembled, I needed to add the arm rest. There are open end chair attachments screwed into the seat of the chair with several small holes drilled into each of them. The idea is that you slide the arm chair railings that have small metal buttons on them, down into these attachments, and the little knob should click into these holes to secure the arm rest. Well since the holes in the chair attachment were mis-drilled, they did not line up with the little buttons, there was no where for the little buttons to lock into, therefore rendering the arm rests useless! My husband just had extensive rotator cuff/bicep tendon surgery on his right (dominate side). Therefore he needs assistance with showering, I purchased this chair for this reason. There is no way, he is sitting on this piece of crap. He does not weigh even close to 300 lbs.Absolute pure garbage and a waste of time trying to assemble this thing. It says it will hold up to 300 pounds. I caution you, do not test this theory with a live human being!

This is not a bariatric shower chair
Yes it supports up to 500lbs but look at the dimensions, the seat is tiny. If you are over 400lb, your rear end will swallow this chair and will be very uncomfortable. Max height at seat is 19”, that’s very short. Great chair for small people, but if you’re big and tall it’s not great.

It meets the purpose.
My son assembled this, it didn't seem that difficult for him. I wish it was a bit sturdier, only because I am not very stable on my feet, or when setting. It wobbles a bit and tips forward easily if one is not very careful. I thought the seat would be a smidge wider, but I do fit.

Recommend!
This seems slightly smaller than other chairs, yet so holds an adult. I like the way it looks better in the shower than the other ones we’ve had in there. It fits have a small base back to front, so i would not lean back in it! Easy to put together. I like it a lot.

Physical Hazard
I'm a ALS patient and need a shower chair that I am to get out of. I received this one and assembled it. Assembly wasn't hard. I like the height of the chair, and the handles are a requirement for me to get out of any chair. The biggest problem with this chair is that the handles are outside (wider) than the legs of the chair. Wen I'm standing I have to let go of one of the handles to reach for a "Grab-bar" on the shower wall. When I do this I'm placing all my weight on the other handle. Since the handles are located outside of the legs of the chair, it has a tendency to tip. Fortunately when I first did this, I placed all my weight on the handle closest to the wall. I fell into the wall and back onto the chair. Had I fell the other way I would have gone straight to the ground. When this happens I'm unable to get up without help. Though the chair is sturdy it's not safe for an unstable patient.

Good quality, but…
They put the wrong size screws to join the seat to the frame. As a result, the seat got damaged, since the screw was bulging through the seat.I hope they have corrected their error.
